The Crazy World Of Professor Oak

This video explains the life of the great Professor Oak in Pokémon, from his early days of being the greatest Pokémon Champion in Kanto to making friends across Pokémon's different regions, including Professor Birch, Elm, and even Agatha from the Elite Four, among many others. Professor Samuel Oak would eventually create the Pokédex and become the most famous Pokémon professor in the Pokémon world, paving the way for other professors in different regions to follow suit and gather information together to help improve the Pokémon world. He would lastly help Gary Oak and Ash Ketchum get started on their journey. Ash would receive a Pikachu and be guided by Professor Oak as his pseudo-father. The reason Professor Oak took such an interest in Ash is because, in the Pokémon movie "Pokemon 4Ever," the legendary Pokémon Celebi would take a young Samuel Oak to the future where he would meet Ash and be inspired by him. When Celebi takes him back to the past, he made it his journey to ensure Ash would prepare everything so that Ash would have everything he needed to lead the way forward for the next generation. If you don't mix anime with games, Professor Oak's main goals are 1) to study the relationship between humans and Pokemon and 2) to fill and complete the Pokedex with the help of his grandson and his assistant. These have been directly mentioned several times in different games where Oak appears. Of course, if we only consider the games, they don't tell much about Oak's history other than that he had a relationship with Agatha in the past, when he was a strong Pokemon trainer.
