    This is the quick Baritenor Vocal Workout. This set of exercises is designed for singers who have a connected vocal range between F2 and C5. The exercises will develop resonance, strength and agility. Make sure you don't push or strain to sing the higher notes and use the breaks between the exercises to take a sip of water. You will hear my voice starting each exercise.
    Exercise 1: Strength and Agilty. This exercise has a note and vowel combination that will require you to sing in a small ascending and descending range. Use the MI sound to place your tone forward and open up on the AY and AH vowels as you sing the exercise.
    Exercise 2: Cord Connection and Mixed Voice Placement. The Ga sound in this exercise is used for vocal cord connection. You should feel a slight build up of pressure behind your cords as you sing this sound. The NYA sound is used for mixed voice placement. Allow your jaw to drop and aim your tone to the roof of your mouth as you open up into the AH vowel.
    Exercise 3: Epic High Notes. This exercise will ascend up into the tenor high mix and head voice range. Your goal is to sustain a bright and agile vocal tone as you ascend up through your range. It is also helpful to do this exercise first using the lip trill to get your vocal cord and air support finely tuned.
    Exercise 4: Strength and Endurance. In this exercise you will sing a repeating scale in a small range that gradually ascends and descends throughout a large range of F2 to C5. Make sure you don't force the highest note of each exercise. Allow your air and support to do all the work.

    Very good, even tho my neighbors probably think I've joined some sort of cannabis cult now, with the ganja-exercise.

    So I'm having a hard time switching from middle voice to head voice..
    I can't just change but have to skip like two full notes XD middle to chest is no though. But here I'm just skipping C5 but a bit above works again haha

      I’d say Baritone. I have a lot of videos on my channel for helping with high notes. Look for head voice exercises and lessons.

    coach...i have a range of G#2 to G6...it sounds impressive to most ppl and even to myself, but i don't know how to control my voice...i used to be good as a kid but after puberty, i strain on almost every note in the 4th octave (i.e. C4 to B4) G#4 to B4 won't even work unless falsetto....btw im very good with head voice and managed to develop flageolet but the tension never goes away...its just too much.... sometimes i want to quit singing but it's my form of expression since no one really listens to me.... please what do i do 😢😢

      Bro exact same problem been struggling in the exact same range. If I could control my mix half as well as my head voice I’d be such a confident singer. Been struggling with it for years and gave up for a while but I love to sing too much to stop.

      Recently I noticed relaxing my chest and the lower part of my throat has made it less strenuous although I still don’t have a lot of control in that range it’s less tension

    Is this good for baritone?

    • @aussievocalcoach
      @aussievocalcoach  11 месяцев назад +1

      It is ok for high baritones. Just need to make sure you don’t strain on the higher exercises. It is better to wait for the exercise to return back into your range.
