For me, story of the tournament is Madison keys. What a run through rybakina, svitolina, swiatek, sabalenka. On men's side, emergence on fonseca and tien and Monfils d. Fritz were great early round stories. In my opinion, zverev and sinner had pretty easy dtaws to the final. I think Djokovic d. Alcaraz was the match of the tournament, but there's a argument for Tien d. Medvedev. Sinner was too good in the final. Djokovic injury is notable as I think he would have beat zverev healthy, and there's uncertainty whether he'll play AO again.
That a narrative that was not there Madi said herself. That she was consumed by nerves. End of story. Madi vowed that she was not going to let that happen again in the AO final and delivered the long awaited slam title.
The time Madi has left on the tour will depend on how her body holds up. I agree with you about another peak 3 years if Madi can stay healthy. It also a case of how much longer is she going to want to do it.
Lendl shouldn't be compared with Roddick or Zverev. Lendl won 8 slams & 94 ATP titles. He is one of the greatest ever & deserved to be in a double digit slams players club. For example Lendl is far better than Agassi (who is overrated) & had more dominance period than Sampras (who peaked only during slams mainly in Wimbledon & US open).
@@rajusaha855 He probably would have won more than 10 if he hadn't set his sights on winning Wimbledon in an era when the grass was different and there were still specialists.
But Who's the winner Djokovic or Sinner. Why do you talk so much about Djokovic, Who Is a zombie tennismas and can play only in the night. Why don't you talk about Sinner???
@@tusharsingh4543 yes you're right but today Is 2025 and Djokovic Is no more winning a Major since September 2024, and we are talking about real time not history

Nole is the past
Yet another podcast about Djokovic, and two words about Sinner, tell your friend Nole there's a new kid in town.
Simple, go watch something else
@@natabrito4355 Yes i will.
@@michaelcolleary7224 Great -see ya.
@@natabrito4355you're right but the other guy isn't entirely wrong either🤷🏻♂️
sinner is boring
Ridiculous men. Hey there is new kid in town.
But Novak Djokovic stays forever!
Novak will be back!
Zverev, the Ivan Lendl or Andy Roddick of our era?

he will eventually get his first GS title

Because one guy has 24 slams and the other only 3.
That should tell you something 😂
@@tusharsingh4543 sure, but he didn't win the AO 2025

the result of Sinner’s match was very predictable, and Carlos vs Novak was much more fun
You're so boring with Djokovic
I'm assuming you never complained when all the talk was about Federer, even late in his career when he was often injured and accomplishing little.
You're so boring with being anti Djokovic...just accept that he's better than your favorite player
They talk about djokovic because sinner was lucky that novak got injured otherwise he would not win the AO.
Does Steve Flink have a photographic memory???
Think so
