    Thanks guys. Nice review. Just on the Doping stuff - this narrative of lack of consistency is understandable but it's not correct. The ITIA are following the same process each time, outcomes are different because circumstances are different and the evidence is different. Simona wasn't able to appeal the suspension as she couldn't locate the source and it was also quite a complex case. Jannik was able to appeal the provisional suspensions very quickly (as he himself said basically because his team told the truth). If the appeal is successful, it isn't made public until after the hearing/decision. Iga's appeal was originally rejected but just before they made it public, she sent the results of her own investigation in to the ITIA and they didn't announce it while they did their own tests and then it was lifted. I wish people generally understood the process better and stopped talking about secrecy and cover ups. Hoping there is no ban or only a short one for Sinner. I understand the principle of being responsible for your team, but it seems very unfair when he had no knowledge of the spray being used and did not himself take or ingest anything. Either way it will be a relief when it's decided and we can get on with the tennis.

    @CourtSidewithBeilinsonTennis - Thanks guys for another great year. But when talking about your thoughts for 2025, you missed talking about the top 2 players no? This is a big subject you missed here. Many questions regarding Carlos and Sinner (some listed below) and would have been good to get your views 1) Sinner: he had a great 2024 with significant improvement to play at elite level. Can he improve even more in 2025? What aspects of his play to watch for in 2025? 2) Carlos: tons of questions on Carlos. How can he fix his performance inconsistency? This is not easy to figure out, is it even fixable in your opinion? Do you think he lacks the motivation / hunger / mentality to stay in the top 2? Do you think he is making the right decisions in general? I question his unnecessary busy off-season period (busy exhibition schedule, flying to different time zones, hanging around, etc) instead of training a bit on improving his hardcourt performance and focusing on AO (clearly 2024 showed that fast harcourt is his weakness). Do you feel a lack of focus as we are heading to 2025? He is talented but are his lack of discipline and mentality waisting his potential? Is he hungry enough and confident enough to do everything possible to win? Do you think he can still compete with sinner in 2025 or did sinner put a good gap between his game level and Carlos? Now that all courts are faster globally, will we see Carlos continuing to struggle? What do you think of the new coach announcement?

    I don't like that hosts are promoting the idea of giving overinflated importance to H2H versus the performance against the whole field. We've been through this before - in 2006-07 when Rafa fans were drumming about "Real #1". This idea goes against the basic logic, the part is given a greater importance than the whole. The truth of the matter is that Sinner is #1 and Alcaraz is not. In China Sinner won 1000 event, while Alcaraz won 500 event. This truth is getting lost while everybody concentrates on their Beijing final.

    I am unsure about their 2025 predictions for men in terms of the future rivalry between Carlos and Jannik. I am not confident that Carlos will recover (although I surely hope so as a fan). I understand that Carlos is going through tough times and completely unravelling recently but the question is would he be able to recover from that? It doesn’t seem that he is able to revert back to the top quality tennis we are used to with Carlos. I don’t think this is solely due to the Olympics hangover As for Novak, his priority for next year will undoubtedly be to win Wimbledon. By winning his 9th, he will surpass Federer’s record of the most Wimbeldon wins. Also, whenever he decides to retire down the line, I believe it will be during wimbeldon. He always said that that place is the most special for him. Best court for him is centre court at Wimbeldon and that was his childhood dream

I just feel that although both are young, Jannik is able to navigate those factors better than Carlos. • @VH07654
      @VH07654 4 месяца назад

      @@denisecasalino9295 maybe then he should be more selective in terms of which tournaments to play. If he was exhausted after the Olympics, maybe he should have skipped Cincinnati to prep better for the US Open. Similarly, why did he decide to play in Davis Cup? It might be better to skip it in order to regroup and up his game for the rest of the year. He played for the Olympics and is already set to play in the layer cup, surely he can skip Davis cup this year Also he would benefit from a mental coach or bring in a co-coach alongside Ferrero (similar to what jannik did bringing in cahill last year) The fact that he didn’t do any of the above point out that he will continue to have tough times from now until the end of the year. I am a fan so I hope he can make a comeback but I don’t see a real change yet

    Daddy Hall of Fame predicted after Roland Garros, that Sinner would win AO and USO, and Alcarez would win RG and W. About the US tennis players, I don’t agree that this last Slam proved that they are any closer to winning a grand slam; in fact, it proved that they are as far as they have always been when the BIG 3 were around. This last Slam displayed that the only way for the current US players to win is that they don’t have to go through the very elite players (Sinner, Alcarez, Medvedev, and Djokovic). I found it not encouraging or discouraging; I would call it an "Assessment Slam.”

      The summer is finished and he is in crisis, just like last year, and the year before.

    Great insights! Felt bad for Carlos but given that he won the FO and Wimby back to back playing some grueling 5 setters then playing the Olympics for the first time and deciding to play doubles with Rafa and pretty much playing every day that week then loosing in the finals to Novak with only a few days to rest then having to go to the US hardcourts it was only a matter of time that there was going to be an emotional and physical letdown. Hope he can recharge and recover but with Davis and Lavar cups around the corner doubt that will happen 😢

      He has a horrible calendar this year, I don't know how he will manage with his current state of mind. We will see him losing early more and more
