- Hey, Hey! My name’s Tanny, but people call me TannyRaw.
19 years ago I switched from a Standard American Diet to whole-foods plant-based. 14 years ago, I transitioned into an entirely low fat raw vegan lifestyle and I haven’t looked back since.
Changing my food to strictly whole raw healthy living greens, plant fats, and fruits healed me from a host of auto-immune diseases and chronic gut and health issues.
Within less than a year, I lost 86 pounds and could finally move without experiencing pain. My skin cleared, I gained a head full of thick curly hair, and experienced a dramatic change in my eye color! Just a handful of the benefits I’ve enjoyed from a purely raw diet.
I’m sharing everything I know about low-fat raw vegan & the “Do different. Get Different” mindset because nothing feels as good as health does and I want this for you.

Tanny my beautiful daughter died just after Christmas last year. It has been devastating.... I still have so much to be grateful for. Her children... my grandkids ... my son and my other daughter.. many more things. As hard as it is to get to this place I’m grateful my girl is at peace now. I love you Tanny.... your man is so lucky to have you.

Prayers for Christopher. My son Christopher was on drugs and estranged from us for years. It was heartbreaking and I had to learn to be ok. Over the years I’ve seen great growth in him. No more drugs! And we are somewhat closer. That may be all we ever have. But we have that and I’m grateful for it. He’s 48 and his life is his. And my life is mine. I’m so thankful to God for everything I have.

I hope Greg realizes he is the luckiest man in the the USA, you have both beauty and wisdom. I am looking forward to seeing you happily married, you deserve it, after your tortuous and testing journey, until you took responsibility for your life and health into your own hands. Don't worry about Chris he just hasn't yet found his purpose, or direction in life, but he will, though he has to find it himself, like you did, just give him time and by patient, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.. Sometimes the world seems more complicated than it really is, best to keep it simple. Be kind to your body, it is the only one you will ever have. Find a vocation that you enjoy that can support a life, find a place to call home, and most important of all find someone to love, then you have all you need and nothing you don't.

Alone, lost and forgotten, my family is not with the love of God- I only am with strangers in a homeless shelter.
My son went in a different direction and I am not important anymore- he had hugged me every time he saw me- what happened?
My daughter said she wants to live with a guy- I counseled her gently, she didn’t listen- he took her for all her money, lived off of her and caused her eyes to be blood red- so she won’t talk to me? Like I did it to her? My heart is broken for losing my older son to death and God wanting me to get my granddaughter out of foster care, yet He didn’t make a way , though I am told by the Holy Spirit... He breaks my heart too😭
Least of these, I hope life brings you someone new to love.

Hey, it has been a while ... I was actually very down today and thought, maybe I will go see what I can find on Tanny TV and it might help me cheer up. Alone, in my apartment today too. I talked to my folks, but I am having an existential crisis about my feelings regarding family that it did not really help. I am going to try to get back in the Tanny habit. I love you.

Thank you for sharing this video. You really hit on several things close to home. The holidays are difficult for many people including myself. It is painful to see those “missing spaces” at the dinner table or within your home. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this too. But what a beautiful testimony of how to look at your blessings. This is a very powerful reminder of just how much we can actually shape our thoughts/our mindset. I’m thinking of doing another raw reset. My lack of self confidence in group settings is what is holding me back. I’ll need to give it serious thought. I think this video just touched/helped many people out there. I love you Tanny. 💕😊
I watched "Little Women" yesterday on DVD, the version with Wynona Ryder and Susan Sarandon. It is my all time favourite and I would never watch another one, ever! ;-) Happy Holidays Tanny and lots of love and strength on your path.

Tammy you have no idea how much you inspire me and touch my life!!! My holidays were challenging in the sense of I had very very high expectations for myself to put on this impressive magical home-cooked made from scratch meal for 15 adults and do the same for Christmas breakfast all while taken care of an injured partner and I had to do a lot of contemplation on expectations and disappointment and how we extract things gifts etc. for others and how we have expectations of ourselves that can often drive us crazy!

I think you are amazing, and such a strong woman. I enjoyed listening to you, and I wish I could have been the raw foodist that I wanted to be. Can you believe that I read Survival in the 21st Century 45 years ago, but the author claimed that eating raw food would eliminate your sex drive and I didn’t want
that to happen. LOL.
You have given me hope even though I am very ill with cancer, having turned my back on allopathic medicine 12 years ago, I chose to heal myself. It was working, and the tumour was quickly shrinking, but I couldn’t sustain my diet, and protocol after my family threw me away with meanness.
I am not alone; I have a sweet husband, but I broke under my sisters cruel abandonment. I do have a part of me that watches, and tries to understand, and I have tried to be a healer, but I found that the unconscious mind is controlling a lot, and many of us have been damaged from childhood abuse.
I haven’t read Gabor Mate’s book, “ In the Realm of the Hungry Ghosts”, but I now understand much more about the nature of addiction.
You are an interesting person in how you can talk to a phone as if it was your best friend. That is a fantastic ability, akin to being a great actress, and I feel your authenticity, and your love of of self, and of humanity. You are wise, and generous. Thank you.

Can you talk about under eye cercels. All my family have them including me. I was wondering if you suffered from them and if eating raw helped them? I have started binge watching your videos and changing my food choices to be the best version of myself mentally and physically. I eat fruit and veggies all day until the evening as I struggle at that time however I will get their as this is what i want. Thank you

(besides the obvious thing). i am putting a lot of weight. i think mostly from my 8 c tea each day with cream and maple syrup. comfort food. it came to my mind i needed to get your recipes. i just knew it would get me back on track.
