  • I recently realized the struggle I’ve had with taking feedback and constructive criticism from people - my husband in particular. I think that this is something many women struggle with because of the ways in which we’ve been cultivated in society. To grow requires us to truly be stretched and sometimes that encompasses what we really don’t want to hear. As always, share thoughts in the comments!
I pray that this video blesses you!

It's sad that we as women have become known as being challenging and receptive to feedback. Even in the media, men are always portrayed to know not to be honest with their wives for fear of emotional breakdowns or outbursts. Men are taught to think things like 'happy wife, happy life' and other things that reinforce the narrative that women are loud, combative, unreceptice to feedback etc. It's really sad.
