Unglaublich!
There's a conductor who really DELIVERS an exciting ending - giving his all, and then some!
Love it
What a historical and definitely an ironical place to perform this symphony for and of humanity. 'Mauthausen' concentration camp like many others was a place of extreme human cruelty by human beings to fellow human beings. This is the reason I listened to this magnificent 9th by LVB with such mixed emotions of heavenly joy on one hand and a deep sense of hellish sadness on the other. Let humanity not forget the often used phrase 'NEVER AGAIN'. May Almighty God keep the millions of victims of the holocaust in eternal peace and rest...Albert Baily (Melbourne)
Best quartet I've heard in this top to bottom.
Excelente Maestro. Sir Rattle. excelentes músicos fantásticos.
I've never heard Rattle's Ninth before. I have been saving it up. There are several points where I disagree with him, but - wow, it was worth the wait.
Bravo Sir. Simon Rattle.🙏💖
That was very moving, indeed!
Genius.

What a moment. That scenery - imagine, this was performed in Mauthausen, one of the most significant places of Nazi cruelty. Never forget, never forgive anyone who does this again! Fight Ruzzia!

No applause at the end? What the fuck...
This was played at the 55. anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp Mauthausen. I thought this too at first, but given the circumstances it makes sense
¡Que mala interpretación! 🤦🏻♂️
