bill, you have got to do sound clips of this kind of stuff. the lack of doing so is killing all of us.
3:03 when you have the wrong size socket but keep filming anyway
Over four years later and you were the first to notice that :). Sometimes mistakes make it through editing lol
@@cjponyparts LOL happens to the best of us!
The roush intake instructions state "If you have a Focus RS install the coupler (1213-9645 Short coupler), if you have an ST
install (1216-9645 Long coupler) to the end of the new ROUSH clean air tube." You said the opposite in the video.
They also make an NA cold air intake for the focus se, I have it on mine and it sounds great.
does it fit ford fusion 2.0 ecoboost because it the same engine as focus st just automatic transmission
Anyone with an ST make sure you install the long plain black coupler, not the one with ROUSH. The short one will not be long enough.
I agree. The Roush directions have the long coupler for the ST and the short one for the RS.
Thank you, random person from 5 years ago. I came here specifically looking for this comment to make sure I wasn't crazy. lol.
For my at the black one fit but the color one didnt
So how much of a difference does the actual piping make as opposed to the new box cover and filter?
Hmmmm, I wonder?
Schade nichts für Mondeo MK4 2.5t
Do you need a tune after intake install?
No

@@cjponyparts I think you missed the joke
Rook9696 did you click the link? Lol
@@cjponyparts I got you now, 10 pack
Rook9696 all the 10 mm sockets you should ever need :)
Do you need a tune for this?
Cole Waldo no, also works under warranty it’s ford performance approved
@@adamfreeman6640 You don't need a tune for an intake on an ST?!
@@hungrypersian no you do not need a tune for just an intake and filter. The only time you absolutely should need a tune is if you have a Downpipe upgrade and step colder plugs. But even then you can still driver regularly without romping on it.
3:02 that screw ain't spinnin
Looks really bad. The elbow wasn't changed
made of plastic. huge fail for the $ it cost.
Zander13's Garage I highly disagree. I paid 80$ grand for it where I live and I love it. I have been driving many different high end cars. I dont enjoy mercedes interior as much as people praise it. I really dislike the entire wv group(skoda and audi). Volvos feel really nice but the design is incredibly boring. And if you think the Rs is plastic then check out a new chevy suburban for 2x the money!! Awesome suv but my toaster have better build quality :D
I'm pretty sure that Zander13's Garage is talking about the intake tube. For almost $400 I'd expect it to at least be aluminum.
sammichmanjr yeah thats right, that may be.
yes
Zander13's Garage Yeah your comment really fit right in with some common public opinions. The intake tube didnt even cross my mind :)
