    You sound outstanding. Would it be a problem to you writing the gear and settings used for the video? Thanks!

      Thank you! I’m using my Rickenbacker bass through a DI box directly into GarageBand. I’m playing through the Marshall stack guitar setting. I can’t remember the amp settings exactly but I know Lemmy was pretty much all mids and treble.

    awesome cover, can you achieve that sound in a bass that's not a rickenbacker?

    • @bassspace1567
      @bassspace1567  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks! You could maybe get close, but a rickenbacker has a pretty unique sound! To get the "lemmy" sound, I run my rick through the garageband marshall stack setting and add a bid of overdrive. If you have garageband you could give it a try.

      unfortunatelly all i got is an oldass ross amp, am thinking on getting an overdrive/distortion pedal to try out (my bass is an old ibanez trb 50, oneday, if they exists for left handed, i would get a rick) anyway thanks for the tips man, keep rocking \m/

    Hi Whats the brand of your strings? Thanks

    • @bassspace1567
      @bassspace1567  8 месяцев назад

      I think at the time I was using Dean Markley Blue Steel strings bc I read somewhere that Lemmy used them. I don’t remember the gauge

    • @bassspace1567
      @bassspace1567  3 года назад

      Not sure what the settings were, but I was using the Marshall stack amp setting in Garageband. Cut the treble and boost the mids.

      I’m pretty sure this one was tuned down a half step, like most of Motörhead’s stuff!
