Ian Pedersen and he slapp, so I acepp 👀

Hey there brother
Can we all agree RHCP has some of the best and most creative bass riffs ever thank you flea!
Yupp
wait until you hear primus
I'm not even a fan of RHCP, I like maybe 3 of their songs. But Flea is a hell of a bass player. Fun fact: he also voice acted Donny from the Wild Thornberries

I bought an effects pedal back in school specifically to play Time Is Running Out and Hysteria properly
Shame he wasn't playing it right
@@benyoung5633 No I'm pretty sure the 8th notes is right. A lot of people think it's 16ths but I recorded a cover of the song recently and felt it sounded wrong with 16ths.
my god. seemann is so nice to play.. never heard the song before this video.. it's quite beautiful
Dude you're making me want to pick up a bass. Real talk.
i did
Matty78943 Hello, brother
Keaton Moorman I play bass! I recommend you pick one up and learn it! It's fun!
I'm primarily a rhythm and lead guitarist, but I picked up a bass just to mess around and oh dear lordy it is quite the fun instrument. I reccommend you try it

I know this video is 3 years old, but I would to say thank you for posting such tutorials and skill. It made my sight-reading better, made me use my whole fret board, and made me try different techniques on how to play these riffs.

Thanks. Check newer videos, they are better
I don't know why, but the sound of a bass is so soothing
More of this please, it really helps people and new bass player like me discover more and improve, thanks to you brother!
2:50 Epic. I love the Dead Kennedys.
I watched this video and immediately gained respect for you because I had just started. Yet, months later I watch this again and I’m able to play so much of it by watching your other videos and you are the reason I am able to confidently play
ive watched (and played along to) this so many times that i already know this by heart! i use it as warmup :D great job man!!
Tool
Why are you calling yourself names like that ?
+Jose Hilera He even made Schism his number one
+David Chacon
Their name was Tool dating back to about 1989. Long long long before it became a slang word for both penis and person that gets abused!

uhh For Whom The Bell Tolls?
great video though, I don't even play bass
I guess this is bass only. My Friend of Misery would've worked, though.
+DarthUno For Whom The Bell Tolls has one of, if not THE, most iconic bass riff to kick the song off.
For whom the bell tolls is played on bass, just through a lot of distortion and wah-wah
La pras well in the studio recording, there's also a guitar playing the intro
¡Gracias totales!
That was awesome! You're a great inspiration to all beginning and intermediate bass players
I’ve learned so much. Yet the sound on your bass is amazing
You played all my favourite Flea intros! Your tone was clean and funky, while still moving through a bunch of genres. Keeping those mids on Schism and then that fat low on Higher Ground is no mean feat! Only thing missing was For Whom the Bell Tolls, but I won't begrudge you because this was f'in awesome.
I remember seeing this video years and years ago when I had just started middle school, and I can definitely say it’s one of the reasons I picked up bass
Tool has such amazing bass lines. They're relatively simple, but sound so good.
Thank god you put the Strokes's Reptilia tab! :p
I’ve had so many brushes with the bass. I bought a bass just before Covid and I am finally comfortable with it. Having fun learning these intros. Got a lot of catching up to do.
Only In Dreams has a great bass riff that is criminally underrated and gets you hooked right into the song every time.
jesus never thought i would see rammstein in this medley.
Huge respect for the classic blink 182 he threw in there
Austin Scott Ikr! I love Carosuel and Man Overboard's intros sooo much. The intro of Carosuel is why I like the Buddha version so much better
Well done man. Got so many songs to practise now. This is gonna help my game a low. Some songs sound so hard to play but when you have the tabs in front of you it's not so bad. I'm gonna try most of the songs now.
Ey dude, I just came from a lot of videos of guys that was doing a 50 intros in 5 minutes video and I just remember your video, you anticipate this thing and it's magical
Hell yeah with the Porcupine Tree. Strip the Soul is one of my favorite songs to play. Great choice there!
I have to say, that bass sounds terrific!
Transitioning from guitar to bass and your videos are helping so much. Subbed!!
So much RESPECT! thanks for this, only makes me wanna practice more! I love your video's, they are clear, easy to follow, and just looking at your skills makes me jealous!! Keep it up!
Lol, I'm glad Holiday in Cambodia and Jerry was a racecar driver made an appearance. Oh, and amazing playing.
I'm sure My Name is Mud would have been, too, but 4 strings...
A lot of primus songs could have got in if he atleast had a 5 string. Im just glad a primus song got in
Was waiting for Panic Attack. Was not disappointed.
I love 8, 10, 27, 37, and 50 the best, probably because those are some of my favorite songs on the list
That Miss Murder was so on point, it gave me chills, man

Same, would've been fucking AMAZING if H. was in this, despite being so simple it is just such an orgasmic bass intro.
I love these types of videos which people playing with the music sheets in the corner as they play, it’s easier to learn that way for me. I’m trying to save up for an instrument, always wanted the drums but I got no room for ‘em. XD
This is so awesome. Thanks for sharing.
very happy to see seemann on here!
I have been playing guitar for about 16 years. I bought a bass for experimental purposes. About 2 hours into my bass playing, my fretting wrist is so damn sore. I once said "It takes no skill at all to play a bass". I regret ever saying that.
Me switching from 25" inch scale to a real 30" like:
I went from a 4 string 21 fret up to a 5 string 24 fret bass. It’s confusing and feels like you’re playing on the A string sometimes when your on E.
Great picks, brother. Love your bass videos. You're a damn good player.
