What I have enjoyed most about your vlog is that you and Brad share your "Attitude of gratitude " so openly. I know how tough a twin pregnancy, C-section , tending to twins and having a partner in the military are on a couple. I definately understand what you are going through! I have twin boys myself! They are turning 21 soon!! It's very, very, hard when they are little for sure! Non stop work around the clock for a few years! It gets better when they start school! I put mine in preschool at the age of 3 and it was Great! They love it and so did I !! They learn alot at an early age and they learn how to socialize with young children and other adults! This video made me cry!! You are doing a Fantastic job with them babies! Your Mom is the bestest Mom ever to stay with you and help you out during your time with the babies!! You need all the help you can Get!! Just remember to take naps and walks everyday you need it to feel better and take care of yourself!! Most importantly!! Your husband looks like an amazing Daddy to those precious babies!! You can see the Love and Joy he has for them and for you for sure!! He was so excited to see the babies and go for a walk with them!!! Love eachother as much as possible!! It is so nice to have your Mom there to remind you that the difficult parts won't last forever. Sometimes when you have a baby that screams for hours on end it's difficult to think straight. I had a very difficult time sleeping when I thought my babies might need me, even though I knew my Mom had them and I trusted her completely (she is the baby whisperer).
Rach, you seem so relaxed. Sometimes I thought I would unravel. My babies had colic but I only had one baby at a time. Although when I had the 2nd I had a 2 yr old. My mom came around to help me whenever she could. My husband worked a lot of overtime but when he was home he was completely hands on. He was my hero every time he walked in the front door.

Yes. The babies weren't the surprise. He just had to work a very long shift so he wasn't going to be able to see them all day. So his wife and mother-in-law surprised him with a little visit.

why we must be born spiritually in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven).
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord. The bad news is that the wages of sin is death, in other words our sin means that we have been
given a death sentence, we have the death penalty hanging over our heads, that's the bad news. But
here's the good news: The good news is that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.

justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
C - Call upon the name of the Lord. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their
knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of lords and the King of kings.
Romans 14:11 - For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every
tongue shall confess to God."
Don't wait until later - do this now.

I remember all those long restless nights. Our daughter is 3 now, and we are expecting #2. We must be crazy, for doing this all over again, we will have many nights of no sleep and frustrated feelings, but I'm excited to see God's plan for another miracle. Bless you and your family, especially those precious babies!!
My husband is a Navy Veteran, he served 8 years. He wanted to serve more but his job was part of the big cut backs in 2012.

All the sleepless nights are worth it for sure. I was born 3 months early and my Mother tells the story that I cried constantly. She said she would feed me, change my diaper and then they would roll be in my bassinet into the bedroom and shut the door! OMG, but I survived. Barb is wonderful!!!!! My Grandma was my favorite person in the world and taught me so much and mostly she loved me more than anything. I can see that Barb is that kind of Grandma. :)

Moms just know how to put things into perspective!! I have one that likes to keep things interesting at the last feeding until 11 or midnight some nights also. I’m hoping that phase is short lived as well.

I just found your channel. :) We're also a navy family, so I completely feel you when it comes to the duty schedule rotation. It can be very challenging! I'm so glad you have your mom to help with the twins. Moms are the best!! :) We're expecting baby boy #2 any day now. I can't wait for my mom to arrive. Your babies are so precious! Enjoy the baby snuggles. Oh, and Levi (my hubs) always gets onto me while filming on base too. Hahaha I always forget!! ;)

This coming from a woman who has a firefighter husband who isn't around much for help and when he is, feels like it's a mom's job...Also, a mother who would be willing to help, but not if it isn't her style of parenting or her way...

You can just tell how much Mrs. Barb LOVES being a hands on grandma! It makes me miss my Grandma Barb so incredibly much (she helped raise me❤️) I remember going to visit my dad on base when we were younger, it’s one of my favorite memories growing up😊

Rachel the ending made me cry. Your mom is just like my mom was after I had my two daughters a year apart. She was always there for me but never told me how to raise them. She unfortunately passed away in 2006 when my daughter's were 3 & 4. You do have a wonderful mom and husband.

love you guys! here's a little tip, my daughter is going threw the exact same thing. she will sleep for about an hour wake up and scream like their is no tomorrow. she is three months old, and what we do is we rock her, feed her until she lets go I also breastfeed, with that I don't put her in her bed until she's in rem sleep. it seems to help with putting her back into her bed just a little tip. for us it takes about 15-20 mins. I also have a two year old son. just sending some love from south-west Michigan.

Rach, I would try doing Lyndle’s bath before feeding her. If you keep the lights dim and bathe, lotion and put in sleepers then feed, read or sing and rock she might be more relaxed and able to sleep longer before waking up again. I have learned throughout my life and caring for many many different babies and children that there’s no right way and each baby/child has very different wants and needs with what works for them to get in their bedtime routine. While I was on modified bed rest for 3 months I played different kinds of music resting the headphones on my tummy and anytime I played piano music by George Winston my daughter would calm from her uterine dance party and during the first few weeks after being born we noticed that it had a similar affect on her so when it was near nap time or during the wind down and getting ready for bed we turned it on in the background and let it play softly after putting her in her bassinet and later her crib. She actually altered between bassinet and crib from the time she came home from the hospital. I was very blessed with an easy laidback baby who loved to sleep. She was a bit of a night owl then and can be now too as a teenager.

I am one week in with my twin boys and I find it difficult to find the time to pump. Luckily they are doing great EBF but I’d like to store some milk and what your doing seems to be working great for you! TIA!
