I do wish that somethings on the figure looked better, like the torso being a lil longer cause rn it looks a odd with his arms being long and then the armpit could’ve been made to look more natural.
All of my other issues just come from the fact that they could’ve handled articulation better on the figure and done clever work arounds for how many tools and accessories Guts has. Instead I feel like they were really lazy about it.
What bums me out the most about this figure is this was a big opportunity to make an amazing Guts figure and really knock it outta the park this time around and they settled for just an “Okay” at best figure when QC issues aren’t happening.
My favorite review of SHF Guts! I love hearing about your fandom for the manga because I think you should always know the basics of the source material before you buy a figure, but even then some reviewers just half ass it 🤷 I love that you found your own fixes to the QC issues rather than complaining too because I’m just so happy Tamashii Nations is being so experimental now instead of just doing shonen and Dragon Ball
Got my Guts from Amiami mid October. No problems so far but my shop has 7 of them coming in next week so I’m a bit nervous. Got in Griffith last week and I can say no QC issues either.
Im very worried for my figure when it comes in later this week, mainly it breaking is what concerns me the most. But also the wrist ball joint has me worried, is there any good substitutes for fixing the wrist? I heard applying nail polish to the peg makes it stronger but im not sure
I’ve had my guts for since the beginning of October and I haven’t had like any problems with mine at all so I’m guessing it’s just maybe like a QC issue but only problem I had with mine is one of his shoulder pads popped out and I never noticed until one day I realized it was missing, and never found it
The crotch piece I've seen is kind of a common problem, the cover piece breaks, the back knife breaks and stuff just doesn't stay in place. Mine arrives next week, really hoping it doesn't have the crotch issue. Always love your vids, had to watch this one especially to see your thoughts on it!
I also got 2 guts and mixed and match the parts so my other one is a perfect copy 😂.
Yeah this is probably my favorite review of this figure. Most of the other reviewers didn't seem to do a whole lot of research and just treated it like it was just a very mid tier figure and wrote it off- which is fine but I don't think its fair to take points off due to things like the limited articulation and the knife falling off because otherwise it wouldn't be as accurate to the character. He has his faults but he's still one of my favorite figures! I'm just glad we have more Berserk representation in 1/12 scale!
Dex thanks for the video I needed this ,I was also disappointed with guts mine was the Jp version and I brought another one leg popped off and it is not like the other Sh figurarts line I thought it was a bootleg, because of everything was falling apart on me.Berserk is my favorite anime due to the excellent story and I’m glad to see so much love for this series
His QC is all over the place. Got some people with perfect guts and some with arms and legs galling off lol

I just got the berserker armor guts 2 days ago and I absolutely love it ik this one has a lot of negatives but I want more berserk figures and if mine does break I'll just buy some figma joints and do surgery
My figure came with loose leg joints. The pegs were too big for the right hand to fit. Can't really stand on its own, needs support. The figure looks great, unfortunately the QC is no bueno..lol
I recently received my copy of Guts and I'm desperate.
How do I attach the neck armor piece without damaging the ring where the cloak is inserted?
The triangular part of the neck armor piece fits but the small ball very tight. I'm afraid if damaging the ring where the cloak is inserted...
There was a yt video where the guy extended the torso of the figure by adding small tubes. You should try it out with the falled apart one.

I bought a Marvel Legends God Doom whose crotch section basically crumbled into dust as I lifted it out of the plastic tray.
Got mine today. The peg holes for the optional hands are too small, I can't put them on! Any advice?
Heat the hands by dipping them in boiling water for 10 sec

Highly highly doubt its cause ones japanese release. Or hong kong or u.s. there was plenty reports of japanese releases having issues. It really is just that tamashii has dropped way too damn much in quality.
Never thought there'd be a difference. Assumed they all came from the same factory.
I don't think there really is a big difference it's just varying in quality control
Heard the Chinese and Vietnam factory ones are real sloppy. Thats been the norm for most from that factory through Tamashii

I'm so irritated. I just got mine, and the sword hand peg is weak...it comes off easy and doesn't stay connected. Don't even TRY having him hold the Dragon Slayer in ANY capacity cause its too heavy for it and the hand easily becomes dislodged with minimal handling. You have any tips regarding the peg and making it NOT be so easily loosened?

I got so scared looking at other reviews i guess they must have a bootleg version yours looks good but you should look into Tony Mei berserk mod he shows how he extended the waist which makes him look way better and fixes the dagger problem he posted a how to do it video. Im scared i might mess mine up though 😢once it gets delivered
14:00 guts`s Beherit is indeed green (in some illustrations is more light brown) . Griffith`s Beherit is the Red One, the Crimson Beherit which is a unique color among beherits, since it is only given to potential members of the God Hand
I got the HK version and still no issues of any kind. The box came damaged though XD but the figure is fine
What I have found most annoying are the ankles and the wrist, weak joints as hell ( seems to be a general problem) should have come with diecast feet and bigger wrist pegs

You got the US ver. Bbts will always go for the US ver. If it's available for distribution in the US.
pretty sure bbt uses US suppliers so it's probably the US version.

I've recently bought this as well, And i am very dissapointed with it, the figure is nice, but it's made cheap. the foot broke 1 week after i had left it on a shelf, the Sword Dragon slayer, i cant even put it in his Hand, and its so heavy that it dosen't balance at all. overall Amazing looking figure, but Quality 4/10 Cheaply made!

That figma kinda Ass. At least mine was in Terrible condition 😕, loose ass legs and I can’t change the heads out….super Upset cause Berserk is the coolest most brutal manga ever, Guts is the man!

The only good Berserk anime is from 1997 and the films(the rest are horrible)
man, i wanted to like this figure, but the proportions are way off, his arms seem too long and the legs are too short, it looks like a gorilla,
I'm glad someone said this. His head looks too big as well. They need to do a version 2.
