- How to make an easy origami Heart Bookmark

Difficulty Level: simple
My paper:
15cm x 7.5cm origami paper (half of a square)
A bill or any other rectangle can be used
Two variations you can make from this model:
1) At 1:47, instead of folding edges at 1/4 of the model, fold at 1/6. Then you don't need to fold points at the top later
2) Use a square. Make hearts on both sides instead of the long flap

Hi! I've been following you on your channel for few hours, so, as a beginner, I'm trying to do something simple, like this bookmark. But I noticed that at a certain point, the fronta part of the heart is not divided anymore. At about 4.10 there is a cut and it seems that you changed something. After that moment the heart looks like it is in one single piece, instead of two halfs... Am I having problems of perceptions or you're too good that it actually looks like one single piece?
Btw, thank you for posting so many tutorials.

I have watched your videos but I think this is one of my most favourite origami models by far! At least up to this point! I love bookmarks since books are a great part of my life but I also really enjoy folding origami hearts for some weird reason... Great design as usual, thanks. I managed to obtain an alternate color heart, so you can use a double faced white/red paper,. It’s not that difficult, the 2:46 fold is the main difference, but nothing “hardcore” 😉
