That's a fast bro. Ever since the pandemic when the podcast era really started for sports media/players to reach out to the fans, it's been uphill since.
This is AWESOME, not just bc its LS training him, but just seeing another side of SAS. Seeing him being the student, watching him listening, making mistakes, adjusting, and improving. LOVE to see it man, this is great.

Love it! Im 57-year-old just returned from my 24hr fitness 3am basketball session that I hit 4 times a week Steven A. Smith... I feel you my brother. Your shot is looking awesome! Nice work. Ain't nobody got time to die with a broken jump shot lol. Keep up the good work. Nap time 😅
No he isn't cuz Jason's got facts and proof and logic to back up what he says did anybody that knows how basketball scholarships work or tryouts work without everything this man has ever said about his basketball career
So glad you spent some time away from the camera and worked on your shot. Never thought your shot was broke but felt like you just hadn't shot in a long time last time i saw you shoot. This made me feel good haha. Now we need a Stephen A vs Skip Bayless 1v1 lol! Much love Stephen.
Thanks Stephen for asking that question at 07:35 because it's also been on my mind for many years too as an amateur basketball player. The answer was great too!
Great to see this other side of my man SAS! I’m impressed and can only imagine how he would play if wasn’t for the injuries he mentioned a couple of times. I think he would play like Mark Jackson or Derek Harper.
For any Old man, the problem is usually not the upper body or shooting. When you age you start losing balance / footwork at full speed. Your legs give on doing the things you did before 40. Now I want to see Stephen A in a real game running and defenders on him. That's a real challenge for any B Ball player above 40 years
Thts probably next considering he still has tht rod in his knee iirc so movement might be tricky. (Those small hops on ft doesn’t really matter when it comes to court movement) So he’s more than likely sharpening the mechanics he can before going to that part
Wrong, I’m 41 and still running faster and more than most of the 20-30 year olds I play with. But that’s probably because I was a college track runner and have been running sprints and long distance consistently since I was 14.
