Thank you for the feed back Toma. It's too hard for me to show how to do it and film one handed. I don't get paid for the videos so what's the point in spending my money on equipment to get no return. ?
This should have been a How-to Video, this is what RUclips is great for, but this is just instructions on one portion of the removal. You obviously know how to do this, so let your potential viewers gain value from your Videos and attract more subscribers.

Yes! We finally figured out that there's a zip tie around all the wiring through that tube that has to come off. The mirror wiring (for a 2016 MB2500) is in the black sleeve, not loose like all the rest. It does not unthread willingly.
Some hit my drivers side mirror and didn’t leave a note. I am looking to replace the mirror and this is great advice and explanation. Thank you!
