100% Eddie Howe should be on there, like you say Paul the injuries we've had and the amount of times we've had to juggle the team about from one game to the next and yet we're 6th in the table potentially finishing 5th HWTL !!!

Gordon's omission is shocking after the season (and pre-season) he's had ... Player of the Tournament at the U21 Euros followed by an awesome 23/24 season, yet he's completely overlooked. 🙄
Eddie , fer manager o season , look at his stats , top player in tonali out fer season , juggled a crippled squad , having to put team sheet out , 2 goalkeepers n 3 academy players on sub bench , pushing for Europe place

Klopp’s already won the EFL cup and Liv were pushing MC and Arsenal up to the beginning of April. To say he’s done ‘nothing’ seems a bit extreme, Paul. Klopp defo doesn’t deserve to win it but should be part of the conversation imho.
To say that Dyche deserves to be listed more than Klopp is just bananas. Give Everton their 6 points back and they’d be in exactly the same position in the table, where they always seem to end up.
Gordon not being in is ridiculous. I do think Rice deserves a spot on player of the season though, he has played very well for Arsenal. Foden wins for mine. Will be voting for Isak ofc though.

Double figures in goals and assists this season for Gordon, it's criminal for him not to have even been considered.
Liverpool did win Carabao cup and likely to finish 3rd in PL so I do think Kloop deserves a shout, he’s also done well at developing youth players and giving them a chance in the prem, and that’s coming from someone who hates Klopp.

Totally agree with you on Klopp and Van Dijk just a farce. The awards again has big six bias. I would not have Mainoo nominated before Gordon. Hes barely played half the game time of Gordon. No to Ramsdale before Mamardashvili whos a better prospect and cheaper. Valencia have dropped their asking price which is believed to be E35M/£30M which is £30M cheaper than Ramsdale. With the money we would save on getting Mamardashvili we could get Huijsen or Ederson and have change. We could probably get Malen from Dortmund if rumours that Dortmund might need to sell him to fund Reus and Hummels replacements for £35M if reports on his price are true which with Mamardashvili would only be £65M. If we cannot get Mamardashvili I would get try and get Koen Castells on a free from Wolfsberg before Ramsdale though I believe he is leaving Wolfsberg to be nearer his family in Belgium.
How long would we have to wait for, and then pay to get Freedman?

It says it all when a newly capped upcoming English international isn't nominated for the awards after what he has achieved this season. If I didnt love the club and football so much I would have stopped watching the sport after this season as the PL have become so appalling at running their own product.
I don't understand how we get u21 teams but then have senior players aged 23/24 who are half way through their career, nominated as young players. Make it make sense. And for Gordon not to be there, even Miley who has done more than Mainoo - premier league are gash.

Liverpool did win the Carabao Cup and are 3rd in the League - and did challenge for the title for several months. The problem is it's not a level playing field - the clubs with more money can buy success Pep has not had to struggle like some managers. I personally hate Awards - personal favourites not objective at all.

I think Klopp should probably be nominated just because Liverpool have been in the title race when this season was seen to be a "transitional season" as their midfield was poor and predicted by most to not come in top 4, they've done pretty well sitting in 3rd. Can't think of anyone else really apart from Howe, Dyche, Postecoglu (first half of season).... Yeah can't think of anyone else lol.

Weird one with Klopp as he has won a trophy. BUT...comparatively by his own standards and previous achievements hasnt achieved much so it feels like he shouldnt be on the list, but it's all relative. For balance, If Eddie Howe had won the cup we'd absolutley 100% expect him to be on the list too, but again, it's all relative to the club and maybe expectations.
Anthony Gordon’s name not being in there is an absolute scam! What does this player actually have to do to get some well deserved recognition? He had quite literally had the best season of his career so far! Eddie Howe should be on the list in my opinion and I agree with you Paul, Sean Dyche deserves to be in that list also. Klopp is finished and has done fuckk all this season as you say, there many other players and managers that aren’t in that list that absolutely should be. At this point, should we even call it awards or should we instead call it “list of premier league favourites”.
