Misty Taylor and Wesley were directly involved. Jason's uncle could have broken into Zebb's aunt's house to make the pager call. But he had to be involved with Wes to have a reason. Maybe there was a local weed or meth ring that Zach found out about.

As someone who lives in the same town as Zebb and frequents the same places, this town, sadly, is nowhere near as safe as people think. Nearly everytime I go to Walmart, I get harassed by someone, and crime is rampant in the downtown area. Literally on my way to dance one night I witnessed a forensic van taking photos of a murder scene. Sadly this stuff is common but people tend to assume the “small town charm” makes it safer than it is :( my prayers go out to his family

That driver's seat being pulled so close to the steering wheel makes me wonder. I'd like to know Misty Taylor's height, or the heights of others known to the Quinn family and friends. Was that investigated? Look at everyone under the height of, say, 5'3". It seems it was an important piece of information that had the potential to lead investigators to the person who moved Zebb's car. How about fingerprints on the steering wheel while we're at it? If there were fingerprints, short person matches fingerprints...at the very least, we have an accomplice, someone who would sing. Then we might know the truth. RIP Zebb. You deserved better.

I’ve always wondered if the lips on the car were just drawn on by someone, maybe a kid, walking by the car after it was parked in the parking lot. The puppy was definitely left in the car to draw attention to it, though. I’m 38 minutes in, at the beginning, the narrator talked about Zeb and Jason going to look at a car. Did Deb have cash on him that Jason would like to have? But it does sound like they fall because Jason turned up was significant injury’s. I would make is that Jason shot and police officers, normal people do not shoot police officers. Capable of murder might. Jason didn’t come home all night. Jason called into Zeba work. I’m going with Jason killed him. If he had accomplice, that part, I don’t have a hypothesis.

You can’t burn a human body to ashes in a fire pit. It doesn’t reach high enough temperatures.
Still no , you can’t cremate a human body as in fire pit. You can reduce it down significantly and then spread those contents over field or lake or something, but like you would associate with cremated person.? No

I figured misty and her boyfriend were involved, i think jason is telling the truth, from minute 25 i thought jason was threatened to stay quiet, maybe misty got off on her boyfriend killing for her, and the car makes sense that she got it as a demented gift, clearly jason suffered knowing that his friend was killed and held back on telling anyone out of fear

That was confusing. Seems like they got their man in the end but the middle bit is absolutely bizarre. I feel like Owens had a female accomplice though the dog seems like a female touch to me

I think what really happened in the zebb quinn case, (at the end,), jason lured zebb out to the murder spot, by saying misty wanted to see him, romantically, and when zebb got there, he gave zebb the puppy , drew lips on the back of his car, and said that shed love this, & it'd work. Misty wld love him. Selling this story wld have been easy, jason being a compulsive liar. So, there was never another uncle there that night, just jason and zebb. Then, Jason pulled out a gun and shot zebb, left his car and puppy there ( jason cared about the pup, but not a human life!), went home, started cutting up & burning zebb in his fire pit.
And, If Jason's uncle was such a trigger happy psycho who'd blow away a kid, then why, in that whole time, didn't he do anything to slip up, anything else heinous? Coz the uncle was innocent, the real killer eventually slipped up, Jason. I also detected a slight crush on misty by Jason, too. I think this was the initial reason for the killing, jealousy. Jason couldn't handle yet another guy after " his " woman. It doesn't matter if they are in a relationship already, as misty was, ppl like Jason are so delusional, that they see people as just pieces of property, if they want to, theyll take, or kill, or whatever. Human life means nothing to them. They live to fill the void inside them.

I find that it seems to be a very "family" kept crime if their was a cousin love problem. Wesley put a "friend" make that pager call to get Zeb somewhere to "teach" a lesson to keep his hands off his kids mom.
Jasons life changed after Zeb dissapered if he became an alchoholic but he highly likely had an accomplice later of the couple. As someone clearly arson his place.

Some parts of the Carolinas (North and South) are very hillbilly, but Asheville where Zebb was from is not. It's very suburban, well-serviced, and a popular tourist destination in the region. But it's also in the Appalachian region, so you get a few minutes outside the suburbs and it's very rural again, though I would say it's still not *hillbilly* until it's all mountains. (By the way, whether you meant it that way or not, "hillbilly" is often used to abuse rural mountain people in the US, though some of us prefer to reclaim the title. Signed, West Virginia hillbilly and proud of it!)
