Great stuff! Really would like to seeing a lot more of the footage shot from the tail showing the plane. Certainly enjoy the in cockpit experience, but would love to see a follow up video of that external camera. Please share.
Unfortunately not, because the roads to the canyon were closed due to flooding at the time. There is however some old footage of this T-33 in the canyon previously, look up Spencer Hughes T-33 Star Wars Canyon (good friend of mine)
Wow! That video is just spectacular! I was driving next to SW Canyon few weeks ago, but the parking lot was closed and you needed to follow the pilot car :/ It was my second approach and second unsuccessful. Also Edwords base don't allow Thunderbirds fans to buy merch.... which is very disapointing for aviation enthusiasts from Europe :(
I didn't know that some airforce bases had the degrees of the earth laid out like that. No wonder ufos always land in America. Of course you are going to look for the area with the most avionic infrastructure.
Superb!! Loved the beat-up of the Eddy ramp.
Wow great fyling!!! Regards from Switzerland
super cool stuff
Nice work Mike. I have stopped near Panamint Junction and watched F-16s climb that route in reverse.
That was more than impressive mate! Excellent footage of a fantastic flight.
Thank you.
Fantastic flight and footage!

I’d love to see it too but that camera glitched for some reason 😭
That was awesome!
I enjoyed this video
Great video! Where is that canyon?
Death Valley
No way! My Dad flew the T-bird in pilot training in the early 60's. Is there any ground video of this run?

At what speed did you fly this route?
Saw the Air Speed but couldnt read it.
