LAST AIR BERLIN Airbus A330 DEPARTURE with a WATER CANON (4K)

Last sunday we witnessed the last Air Berlin Airbus A330 departure with passengars to Fort Meyers. Usually the airport welcomes new airlines with a water canon salute by the fire brigade. This time the fire brigade used the water canon to say goodbye to an airline which was based at the airport for decades. It was quite a sad day and lots of employes were obseving the last water canon salute on the apron. Three mashallers escorted the Airbus A330 on its last way to the active runway.

Welche Airline ist so Stadt - bezogen?
Auf der ganzen Welt weiß man woher dieser Flieger kommt, oder? So eine Airline sollte man doch unbedingt sanieren und nicht untergehen lassen, wie?
Merkwürdig ist doch, daß es bei Banken und anderen Finanzagenturen (z.B. BRD GmbH) sehr gut klappt, oder?
Ist aber wohl für viele unveständlich denke ich.

Sorry buddy, but this video was filmed in Germany. The fire trucks are European, there's Eurowing jets in the background, and Air Berlin was based at Düsseldorf airport...this was the last departure TO the United States. Reading helps ;)

I am glad that Air Berlin went bust as I found them to be arrogant in the extreme. I have flown with many airlines but my experience with Air Berlin was pathetic. I was flying from Sofia to Saint Petersberg via Berlin with a 2 hour stop. 3 days before my flight I received an Email informing me that my flight would be advanced by 1 day FOR OPERATIONAL REASONS. When I arrived at Sofia airport I was told that my flight would be re-scheduled by 7 hours FOR OPERATIONAL REASONS and now their would be a 7 hour wait at Berlin. When I arrived at Berlin I was told that instead of flying to Saint Petersberg I would be flying to Moscow with a wait of 15 hours for my connecting flight. This was FOR OPERATIONAL REASONS. Later I sent an Email to Air Berlin to complain and I said that I was not very happy with this I was told that if I was not happy then I COULD FLY WITH ANOTHER AIRLINE. GOOD RIDDANCE TO A TERRIBLE AIRLINE.
