- Ash Ketchum has many mysteries that surround him, but so does his start Pokemon Pikachu. We don't know why Pikachu's level always resets or why he'll never evolve. However, there have actually been 5 times in the Pokemon Anime where Ash's Pikachu has actually nearly evolved into a Raichu. With that being said, today's video goes over 5 Times Ash's Pikachu Nearly Evolved Into A Raichu.

You made a mistake in number 1: Ash was at first reluctant to evolve his Pikachu because he know that evolution might change his buddy's personality. So he allowed his best friend to decide for himself if he wanted to evolve.
Ash wasn't really worried about the personality change so much as Ash didn't want to force Pikachu to evolve for his own personal gain like LT Surge did to his Pikachu which he mentioned in the episode.
Maybe pikachu doesn't wanna evolve because it doesn't wanna walk it wants to be on ashes shoulder
"It's because I always want to be with you." :3
Mysterion's Marshadow Raichu doesn’t have the same proportions as a little kid so it would make the whole thing look awkward

With all these thunder stones Ash gets he should just sell them for Full restores

Then again, I don’t actually know if it’s been shown that they use Potions or healing items in the anime other than berries, so maybe he can’t buy Full Restores.

Pikachu will only evolve into a Raichu if and only if Ash will turn 11.

I think the best way to evolve pikachu for the writters would be to do it in the end of Ashs journey. And they can create a new pokemon to be his evolved form. Explaning that some legendary pokemon are born when something extraordinary is made or happens to an ordinary pokemon. In pikachu's case, this would be battling without evolving for so many years.
That would be kinda sick, but I don't really care since I outgrew the show in the orange islands
They did smth like this
Ash's pikachu is one of specific ones, that are stronger than others, but can't evolve (in exchange they got also Bonuses one of them is Gigantamax
No, Raichu is cool and people don’t give him the love he deserves. If you haven’t played the video games, you should know that pikachu is weak af and there is no reason to not evolve it
@@Hylton_Hotelz Bro. Raichu is not cool. Seriously. Is just a fatass Pikachu.

@Low xang yen AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Everyone also seems to forget that even if Pikachu accidentally came in contact with a stone, they've shown other pokemon touching their respective stones without evolving. Like even in the first instance with Pikachu refusing to evolve, he physically slaps it out of Ash's hand. Also going back to the first season with the huge Moon Stone in Mt. Moon, you see a Clefairy holding onto a moon stone for a prolonged period without transforming.
The show seemed to reveal that the Pokemon themselves can control their evolutionary urges, so if they REALLY don't want to transform, even if they touched the stone, they don't have to if they will it enough.
Nah
I think that it's another type of some pokemons
They are stronger, and have powers that other can only dreaming such as Z-move, Gigantamax (or very possible) Mega Evolution
And those 2 are pokemon mascots from "Let's go" (pikachu and eevee for Kanto?)
For Unova maybe Axew and smth else? Idk
It's hard though, I remember that episode where the venusaur was evolving the bulbasaur and Ash's Bulbasaur was holding for its dear life not to evolve
Why would Pikachu evolve when Ash isn't evolving XD
Also, shouldn't Pikachu be like 20 somethin years old?
This whole thing reminds me of the deeper symbolism of that pikachu and ash have a codependent relationship and that neither of them want to grow up and evolution represents “change”
Evolution is said to be separate from the aging process.

Pikachu what's to push his limits. He won't evolve til he has mastered himself (lvl100) and sees a real need to. He is not like goku
Pikachu has been level 100 for several seasons now though because the anime is loose with how a pokemon's power is measured he's been defeated several times by weaker pokemon for plot reasons since a high level pikachu should have few issues taking out anything that isn't ground typed.

Whether the Light Ball makes Pikachu stronger depends on whether your using physical or special moves. If the battle is physical moves only, Pikachu's the stronger one. If it's special moves only, Raichu's the more powerful one since it's Special Attack stat is the higher than even Pikachu with the Light Ball.

Ash:dont do pikachu school do thunderstones
I think they should do a short series of maybe 3-4 episodes where Pikachu ends up evolving but then Ash wakes up from his dream just to troll us all, that way when the episode ends off with Pikachu evolving, the fandom can rage hard, and then the next week Ash wakes up, that would be epic.
Emil Borchert I agree with that

Seeing these images of Pikachu all beat up really makes me realize how brutal Pokémon battles are.
And it's still child friendly. Just imagine how the Pokèmon battles would really be if they were higher age-group. 16+, 18+?
in manga is even stated that pokemon even dies in battle. Manga is really brutal in this aspect.

But Ash’s Pikachu can Gigantamax, and “Pikachu... with the Gigantamax Factor cannot evolve.”
So does this mean these scenes are totally useless?
Maybe not useless, since, to my knowledge, he had no way of knowing he couldn't evolve, so he showed his passion in his refusal. That's just how I see it, though.
Does this mean that Pikachu can carry thunder stones on him without a problem?
@@SarcasticGrumps mabye, i mean he did take away the thunder stone with him first
I always thought they did these episodes as a lesson of the week type of thing: Be yourself and don't change for anyone.
1:10 I'm pretty sure they _meant_ that he was *_stronger_* than an *average Raichu.*
@Kafiye Akbas I think it goes beyond that. Pikachu had two key events early in the series that boosted his power. First he got hit by lightning in the first episode, which by itself was never mentioned as a power boost. However, not much later in order to defeat Brock Ash uses a power generator to boost pikachus ability to store electricity. Those two events early in Pikachus life could be considered the reason Pikachu has much more powerful electric attacks than what is considered normal. After all, Ash wasn't the only one with a Pikachu in the Indigo League but he's the only one with a Pikachu that is consistently stated to be well above average.
Ash pikachu has all max iv thats all.
pikachu doesnt need to evolve if he did he would be the most powerful pokemon of all time
thats kinda true
@@mapleevan8384 Lol I guess, _basically._ That doesn't apply the same way in the anime since that's a *game* mechanic though, but *_pretty much~._* 😂
The reason Charizard was disobedient was completely different and not ONLY based on evolving. He didn’t have respect for Ash as he evolved because he wasn’t worthy of controlling Charmeleon. But Pikachu and Ash have an extremely close bond and obvious respect for one another.
It didn't help that he never truely earned those 3 gym badges in the original series, two were given out of pity and the third was just given as a thank you for a good laugh
Charmander has abandone complex. When he evolved to charmeleon, felt stronger and that doesnt need Ash. Then, when cant attack a flying aereodactyl, he needed to evolve to charizard to be stronger. But he was not a full strong charizard, thats why later he had to train alone (and mature)
@Bob Bobbertson is bully because he suffered of bullying from his former trainer.
It tooke ash running infront of both pikachu and charizard, during another pokemons attack that made them respect ash and were willing to fight for him because he risked his life to protect them.
it kind of ties in with the Only Pokemon up to Lv. 20 will listen to you! sorta thing in games
4:50 And thus, Pokemon Lets go Pikachu! and Pokemon Lets Go Eevee! was born all because of a simple conversation Pikachu had with an Eevee.
Eevee is your rival's Pokémon in Pokémon Yellow. That's the real reason.
Its a joke...also i love Eevee and Pikachu tbh...but not my favorites
@@ExyleCage This is a year old so I doubt you'll see it, but it was actually because Eevee was originally considered to be the mascot of the tv series as Ash's starter Pokemon. They needed something cute to appeal to kids and Eevee is honestly adorable and fit the mold. Plus they can still do the storylines with debating whether to evolve and the Eevee-lution party.
Pokemon Gold was also created in response to the overwhelming success of the TV show and kids wanting to play as Ash.
But Pikachu was chosen over Eevee and, after a hundred billion dollars, the rest is history.

5:50 was so ridiculous. I remember seeing that episode and burst out laughing. Ash acted like the Thunder stone was some kind of bomb or something. I get that he doesn't want Pikachu to evolve, but that much effort was unnecessary

“Pikachu is angy with you”
meowth doesn't say that pikachu would become weaker if evolved only that at it's current level, he already possesses the electrical strength of a standard raichu. Were he to evolve I imagine his power would still grow proportionately.
Which was disproved when ash battles an actual raichu. The fact is team rocket are fooling themselves into thinking that they aren't just trying to steal a common pikachu from a random kid.
Ash's Pikachu lost to a Snivy.
Let that sink in.

I think it would be cool for Pikachu to evolve into a new type of Raichu. Pikachu would still look the same but would be unique with some new colors and maybe a bigger tail like Raichu has.
Basically a new region variant evolution just like they did gen 7 in aloha but it sounds like may a a whole new type of evolution would be cool like they did gen 8 with Galar meowth evolving into Perrserker
Have him evolve into Gorochu!

Red Squirtle64 yep
There's the theory that Ash has remained a 10 year old boy for so long because he saw Ho-oh in the very first episode, so what if the same applied to Pikachu as it was the only Pokemon Ash had in his possession at the time and that's the reason Pikachu doesn't evolve?
actually I think we shall talk about how ASH IS 10 AFTER 20 OR SOMETHING YEARS
Zinivity 23
A longer thought, from someone who has loved Pokemon from Gen 1 and still loves it all to this day.
In the non-existent, never coming finale to Ash and Pikachu's journey I think Pikachu should evolve. Now hear me out, it makes way more sense than it might seem. It illustrates that Ash and Pikachu are willing to change, not for the sake of power in the story, but because they want to achieve something greater than themselves.
At the risk of being a stereotype I could see Ash and Pikachu finally meeting their undisputed match. A threat that cannot be defeated, not by the power of friendship or love alone. As a metaphor for Ash and Pikachu's development, they aren't afraid of evolution, or feeling like it's cheating anymore. They understand that changing and maturing is a part of life, and that sometimes maturing and taking responsibility for their future isn't the wrong choice. Now this could go down a number of different ways, but this is my particular take on this hypothetical arc and finale concluding said arc. Here goes...
The arc as a whole would be a metaphor for Pokemon as a franchise. Sticking to what it knows works, never lashing out to do something new or revolutionary, caught in an endless cycle,
never aging, only superficially making progress. Much like how Ash has never won a league, or kept his progress as a character. New companions, new Pokemon, but merely a skin of what has already transpired. Because of this reason, I think it would be thematically appropriate, not to mention *EPIC* if Ash returned to the Indigo Plateau to win the league that started it all.
The buildup to this event could be a full season of Ash actually taking his "Gotta Catch'em All" mentality seriously. Traveling from region to region, seeing old faces and new, using Pokemon not seen in seasons. And most importantly using his skills to actually catch them all. He doesn't have to keep every one of them, the different legendaries understandably being important for possible future shows. But he at least has them for a moment- filling out the Pokedex and then letting them go. Ending with a climactic Pokemon League, Gary could've finally made good on his plans to become champion. Some of the original elite four, and the rival that started it all as the finale.
The elite four are a testament to how far Ash has come, he defeats them with finesse, skill, and a maturity that has been built up from the beginning of the arc. His party is a mixture of all the different regions. Pikachu and Charizard being the named competitors from Kanto, for various reasons thematic and sentimental in nature. I could even see them instituting a new system where Pokemon swaps are a thing in between each trainer. The final gauntlet a mixture of every Pokemon we've seen so far, but the elite four using only Pokemon from the original region. Another bit of symbolism, showing that Ash moved on from the original 150, he is now a Pokemon Master, and Kanto is almost the same. Of the Elite Four, Lance has gone and is now champion of Johto, and Agatha has passed away. Other thematically appropriate likely previously met trainers are now part of the Elite Four, and the challenge is harder than it's ever been.
The final battle with Gary Oak is a back and forth slug fest, their Pokemon at the pinnacles of their lives. The mind games are strong, each countering each other's move before it is made. The battle draws to an epic climax as Ash is up a Pokemon and Gary is on his last leg: Blastoise. Knowing his type advantages, Ash has saved Pikachu to deal with the Blastoise, Ash's other Pokemon is Charizard, though it's injured after a battle with another of Gary's Pokemon. It seems to be well in hand, but the sheer level of Blastoise, and the obvious size and power gap between Pikachu and a fully evolved Pokemon, even if the type advantage is there... Ash's Pikachu is losing. It's on its backfoot the whole time, dodging hydro pump after hydro pump. Pikachu gets one Thunderbolt in, and it does damage, but not nearly as much damage as it needs. Finally Gary mixes it up with a skull bash and it takes Pikachu by surprise, a blow that almost faints it but it hangs on just barely. Another hydro pump and Ash- panicking slightly withdraws Pikachu in a Pokeball. The only way to get it out without fainting, another testament to how Ash and Pikachu have evolved as characters and trainer/Pokemon. Pikachu still hates it and leaves the Pokeball immediately as it gets recalled, but this was something the two discussed before. Ash sends out Charizard in a desperation attempt to buy Pikachu a little time to recover. Charizard is weak, but still the reliable friend we've grown to love. And this matchup is no stranger to it. A sense of nostalgia fills the air as the two trainers and pokemon remember the last time they battled. Gary thought long and hard about that battle after he lost it, he's matured too, in his own way. Charizard fights hard, and even gets a decent hit in on Blastoise but it's just too much, Gary doesn't let the same mistakes happen twice. And in a few more moments Charizard is collapsed, the arena a steaming mess. Ash on edge, but Pikachu watching his face. Ash wants this, he's never been so close. This is what he's always wanted. He's worked harder than anyone, but for it to all collapse now?
He doesn't think he has it in him to try to win another Pokemon League and lose runner up. Pikachu sees all this, and he sees his friend. The two have been together for what seems like forever, they can barely even remember the start of the journey, but memory after memory start forcing themselves to mind. They have grown beyond this, they're Pokemon Masters.
Pikachu reaches into Ash's pocket, and gestures to the stone. His silence a persistent question, Ash tells Pikachu no. They've come too far to take the easy way out now.
Pikachu is persistent, he doesn't take one no for an answer. Ash begins to break down. This isn't what they wanted was it? He doesn't want to change. He doesn't want his Pokemon Journey...To be over. "It's over Ash." Gary says almost on cue. Ash looks heartbroken at Pikachu. Perhaps...It was time to evolve, to become what he was always destined to be. He'll be different, but in a good way. The way he always wanted to be. Pikachu knew this day would come eventually, he was scared too... But Pikachu was always braver than Ash. It looks into Ash's eyes, for one last "Pikachu?"
In an instant Ash is on his feet "Let's do it Pikachu!" Ash turns his hat for the first time in seasons, Pikachu bolts forward onto the battlefield, Gary making an exclamation and the crowd going wild. "Pikachu, Agility!" Pikachu speeds up to an unbelievable almost imperceptible blur , something it could have only gotten if it had spent this much time growing with Ash before becoming something more. Ash throws the Thunderstone into the air, hurtling through space. Gary screams at his Blastoise to shoot it, but Pikachu gets there first. A massive yellow light fills the stadium, Blastoise is temporarily blinded and its Hydro Pump goes wide. Time seems to slow down and Ash issues his first command to his new Pokemon...No, to his old friend. "Raichu, Thunder attack!" A deafening blast fills the stadium, the ceiling is sheared away by an actual thunderbolt streaking it's way down into the center of the stadium. A massive wave of smoke and debris follows. Ash still in his pointing motion, frozen in place with anxiousness. Did it work? Gary grimaces. The smoke finally clears, leaving behind a crater. At the bottom which is a Blastoise who is t-posed, still slightly spasing from the electricity raking through its body. Its eyes are still open, but then a full 3 seconds later, it slowly but all at once collapses onto the ground. "Ash Ketchum, from Pallet Town is the new Pokemon League Champion!" The crowd is deafening, Ash looking around at all of his friends, the different gym leaders, companions, rivals, and some enemies who have come to watch him. He's temporarily lost in the moment. Then he remembers. He breaks into a sprint as Gary recalls his Blastoise. His best friend barely on his feet, but standing. About to fall as Ash slides and catches him. "Pika-I mean...We won, buddy."
Really well written, I read it all the way to the end. But i sincerely think that pikachu shouldn't evolve. Before reading this I thought ash is stupid not to evolve him but the bond they share can't be shared by a raichu. I think that when ash throws the stone pikachu thinks for a moment, only to realize he doesn't need to evolve to be strong. He jumps and uses iron tail to throw the stone back at him and then does a fully charged volt tackle covering the field in dust. Ash catches the stone and seeing pikachu's spirit he breaks it. As the dust fades both pikachu and blastoise are ready to battle more. Both are really exhausted but none of them wnats to give up. Blastoise uses hydropump but pikachu jumps and dodges it. Ash tells pikachu to use thunder. Pikachu, fully exhausted and unable to attack, tries and brings up a lightning bolt electrifying the field. Leaving blastoise fully paralyzed but he still uses hydro pump. Pikachu is unable to dodge it and he takes the blow. Ash is unwilling to let pikachu attack as he sees how tired his friend is. Ash tells pikachu to come back. He shouts, "I give up,we can't do this anymore!" The refferee is about to say that gary won but pikachu uses volt tackle and blastoise faints the refferee says that ash won. Pikachu rushes towards ash and they both hug, ash crying. Gary calls blastoise into the pokeball and sees the bond of pikachu and ash, he just says "Well played" to ash and goes away.

I just wanna say that I don’t wanna die without watching Pikachu evolving into a Raichu. Becoming a Raichu is not a dream, but it if his destiny; and is the company is afraid of losing money they should do it at the very last episode. 😊
6:15 How does that contradict the Surge episode? Those were two completely different situations.
Honestly, no evolving isnt a bad thing. Theres a few of pokemon I can think of that got worse after evolving, some of them because they base they're fighting on speed and got to big. I think the longer Pikachu stays as such the stronger he'll get and the more questions can be raised about how much we actually know. Evolving isnt always getting stronger, that's what training is for
yeah, for eyample Ash's bulbasaur refused to evolve and wanted to stay in his first evolution form. Same with Dawn's piplup, he even imagined how will evolution affects him so he ended up using bide on himself to prevent evolution and in the end Dawn gets everstone so piplup can stay in his first form as well.
Pikachu abviously has an everstone equipped

Entei Gamer89X true remember when pikachu slapped the thunderstone out of ashes hand and it didnt evolve him?
Entei Gamer89X maybe it got an everstone when Ash wasn't looking.
wait until it evolves into raichu
then use the everstone :)
In the games I used to think that your character would just throw the everstone at the Pokemon's face and the Pokemon just says, "Ow! OK FINE I WON'T EVOLVE!"
I was a weird kid back then...
In my theory Ash's Pikachu can change his level according to the opponent and that ability is linked with the aura. Ash has the power to use it and in my opinion even Greninja and Riolu have the same ability. Greninja was able to equally fight Diantha... but he lost against the Sceptile of a "common" trainer. Riolu will probably be like them because he is literally "the aura Pokemon" and he showed this aspect against Onix, when he fought alone he did no damage with Vacuum Wave but when Ash appeared... everything changed
I really can't stand that so many of Ash's Pokemon are anti-evolution and never fully evolve
You can't sell merchandise with an evolved Pikachu
From what I remembered, Ash never wanted to make the choice. In the first try he asked Pikachu and made it clear he doesn’t care if it costs him a win or not, he only wanted what was best for his friend.
What Meowth says is BS, whenever Pikachu fights a Raichu he gets his a** beaten the first battle and doesn't win unless Ash uses some tricky strategy
Poor Raichu
U guys are pieces of shit
True! Vulpix might as well beat Ninetails. Eevee beat Eeveelutions. Haunter beats Gengar. And more !
And that is probably how pikachu get stronger through Ash's unconventional strategies without Evolving. I feel sorry for ash.
@@cheryl6270 that’s a bad thing?

You spent 3 MINUTES before you got into the countdown, glad you didn't get the 10 minute mark.
He could have easily dragged the video to 10 min if he wanted to.
@@NintenJoeGamer thats right
It's weird that pikachu got beaten by a snivy and then pikachu beats a dragonite

Penquin Squad Yea that's weird xD
To be fair he didn’t have use of his electric moves from being blasted from the legendary Pokémon (unconfirmed but implied) earlier that day
That's why B&W series is the worst part of the anime
lol
Video start at 3:00
pretty cool though how they mention the Lt. Surge battle so long afterwards. . electric shock showdown is probably why Pikachu's my favorite. (and why i never really liked Raichu haha) he'll never give up and is always right beside Ash, ready to go. Glad i grew up with this show.
Jake Player ash was 10 before i was born im now 12 so im older than him
That's not nice. I mean Pikachu is the mascot, but can't you at least give it some respect?
If Pikachu *WERE* to evolve into Raichu, it has to be under three conditions:
1. It must be temporary, like a desperate battle to save the world or do something that requires extreme power.
2. He has to have a cute Raichu voice.
3. There has to be something that turns him back into Pikachu, like a machine or a special one-of-a-kind stone.
The reasoning behind this:
1. The majority of people want Pikachu to stay the same, but there is a good crowd that kinda want to see what Ash's Pikachu would be like as a Raichu. And what better way than to make him super powerful and epic? After he changes back into Pikachu, Ash can hug him and say, "I love you just the same as you normally are, Pikachu, super powerful or not! It isn't about your power that matters to me; it's your friendship." Also, while Team Rocket can admire this, deep down, it makes them want to capture Pikachu even more. Thus, a deeper purpose in their efforts and a renewed understanding among the audience as to why Team Rocket do what they do, and why they've kept at it after all these years.
2. People love Pikachu's adorable voice. In contrast, Raichu generally has a rough, abrasive voice. It would just kill the spirit of the audience if Pikachu ended up with a very different, much less cute voice. The only way it would work is if the voice of Pikachu, Ikue Otani, did his Raichu voice as well. Plus, Ash's Raichu would stand out and be recognizable not only as Ash's old friend, but also give a message to the audience that the personality and spirit of Pikachu is still in him.
3. Simply put: The majority of people would be heartbroken if they knew Pikachu was permanently a Raichu. While some would rejoice that he'd be more powerful, again the message must be made that power doesn't matter. Power is only an instrument that allows you to do more things, but it doesn't give you as much happiness in life as heartfelt loyalty and the bond of friendship.
@PrimePal - That was a long, roundabout way to go about posting an external link. I don't know whether to look at you with shifty eyes or give you props for effort. XD
Alola form Raichu? It would give Ash a Psychic type in Alola and it would cartoony enough to MAYBE get away with it.
IceCrossFire or.. the very last episode,, ever?

You didn't mention why the machine failed in number three, which I feel deserves to be mentioned, thanks to the detail that you put into the others. Right off hand, I don't remember which took place first out of one and three, but I know that number one, which you called the final time, happened before number two.

Pikachu will evolve... When ash becomes 11
So... Never?
He is 11 in sun and moon
Oh...
Pokefann S He was 11 in Johto, but it got reckoned for....reasons
Thanks a lot Ho-Oh for granting Ash's wish
Am I right
Ash respects Pikas choice and protects him from the Thunderstone. And even keeps the one from series 1. That's so adorable. As any good friend should do.
I don't think the Eevee Brothers one counts. He didn't nearly evolve there, they just ask Ash when he's going to do it and offer a stone, just like they do to Brock.
The top 5 starts at 3:00
pikachu is the ONLY electric type he's ever had

Pikachu will never evolve for numerous reasons, the most real of which is he is the face of the Poke-brand. Raichu is not as marketable. Ash will forever be 10 years old so why change his lead pokemon? He can have a whole list of legendary pokemon but the top one who he will always rely on is a tiny little Pikachu.
Why isn't Raichu as marketable? I'm curious. Why would the middle one be the most marketable instead of the final, presumably most powerful one?
Please don't get me wrong, I like both Pikachu and Raichu. However, with the age group targeted by the show, which is usually around 11 (give or take). Raichu isn't as cuddly or friendly looking. If Ash were allowed to age up I could totally see Pikachu evolving and remaining the face of a brand geared toward older kids.
Ahhh, but remember, we have alolan raichu! He's adorable. And if pikachu wanted to now, he could evolve in alola.
Ash isn't 10 anymore dummy he's 18 I think if I remember he got older dummy in alola he got bigger dummy
@@v-Erenz adds dummy to every point. No wonder you're a glitch legend
Ash:this is our only chance pikachu:maybe I should get a life ash: oh yea you should NOW go and eat the thunder stone

Cool vid! Keep up the good work.
Wow thanks for explaining everything! And here I thought we would get a clip or something.
evolves it wouldn't change its feelings for ash
Connor Farris nah Cuz greninja never did
one word to prove you wrong. CHARIZARD
The Rice Crispies Just because Charizard became a douche upon evolving doesn't mean Pikachu would. There are very few other Pokemon in the anime who became douches upon evolving, and seeing how close Ash and Pikachu are I doubt he would.
ARB Pride there are others who think the same but most have been brainwashed by the anime's depiction of Raichu and the whole Charizard thing
I just got finished watching the Half Blood Prince......I couldn't help but notice your LOG IN name what is ARB??? :/
If theirs an episode that Pikachu is going to evolve is going to the finale of the final series season. Only that way
GREENY ANDY unlikley. He's the mascot
There is no final season! It just make a new one.E.G pokemon sun and moon has came so kalos is not the final one
Pikachu evolve when Satoshi (Ash) Matures & able keep Raichu on his shoulder.
@@halaatta4164 He means whenever there will be a final season.
Maybe what Meowth was talking about was if Pikachu's power level already exceeded a normal Raichu.
When It evolves it should be a powerhouse of a Raichu being stronger than most Raichu.
0:59 I'm sorry but ash's charizard disobeyed him because he was overleveld
WHY ARE THUNDER STONES GREEN
Do you mean why aren't they yellow??? Because the fire stone is mostly yellow im assuming it was just a design choice. Same reason electrike is green i guess.
@@MarxPopstar69 wtf?
1] Ash's Pikachu always loses to a shit lv5 starter, at the beginning of each new generation.
2] Pikachu would, technically, need a Light Ball to be stronger than a Raichu, ever.
But, because Light Ball doesn't exist in the anime (that we know of), Ash should just evolve his Pikachu. I'm so sick of all the Raichu-hate. Nintendo, GameFreak, why no love for Raichu?!
Miles Matheson I agree. Raichu's my favorite Pokémon, and I wish it'd get much more love. Also, the fact of Pikachu losing to a shit starter is sadly true. JUST EVOLVE ALREADY!
I agree, Raichu is my favorite
I don't think Nintendo hates Raichu
They just make their mascot look strong to promote it.
Plus
They boosted Raichu's speed stat in XY gave it an alolan form in Sun and Moon.
I think maybe when Meowth said that the Power Level of Pikachu exceeds the power level of a Raichu, he meant that pikachu is so well-trained and battle experienced that he exceeds the power level of a normal Raichu. however if ash' Pikachu did evolve into Raichu, i think that he would become even stronger, he would simply become the strongest Raichu ever..
I know popular theory that makes sense
It's specific kind of Pikachu, like Chloe's Eevee was also specific
Basically: Unevolutionable
It stays whole life in this form, but has bonuses from other "powers" like Z-moves, Gigantamaxes and (very likely) Mega Evolution
It hasn't evolve yet cause its level resets every season
edit: no body wants a level 5 raichu
first name in the show it can only evolve with a thunder stone
Pikachu beat latios in hoenn and the next region in black and white he lost against snivy
Joe Parsons sinnoh not hoenn
RAICHU IS STILL CUTE EVEN PICHU
*even* Pichu?
It’s the most adorable of the whole evolution line in my opinion
I respect yours though.
Dedenne is cute too
Tbh Pichu fucking sucks in Smash Bros tho
raichu is the best evolve, i really love raichu, and it's so cute
Both of you stop you man
No wonder!I have wondered why pikachu is still pikachu!
some pokemon are odd, they do get nerfed after evolving. One example i tested in a game or two once when i was younger was keeping metapad and kakuna base forms. I compared weedle and caterpie at lvl 7 in the games to their evolved forms.. i recall defense for example went up maybe couple points but their attack DECREASED! or vice versa or something. Someone should retest this in multiple games. Its just an example but sometimes some stats do take a hit. Then beedrill and butterfree evolved and it kinda evened out. However i do also think that the final evolutions, the def stat, actually DECREASED. Evolutions do play with stats a bit. So maybe there is a TAD bit of theory truth here. However pikachu does i think actually get stronger in each area like most unlike these bug types. Sooo idk.
Maybe Pikachu Dosent want to Evolve because He was Abandend By his parents witch where Raichu
Just do the best Hedgehog ring! Good point.
But then that would mean Pikachu was once a Pichu
Just do the best Hedgehog ring! Pikachu was raised in captivity by prof oak. Nice try tho
Pikachu isn’t black thogh
@@tucker4000 wow racist much? Funny enough most children with absentee parents I met were white and Asian.
Its the right thing to do letting Pikachu do one he thinks is best , instead of making decisions for him.
Ash decides to do whats best for him. Even letting him stay with his own kind and almost leaving him forever.
Glad there bond is strong even when it comes to thing's such as power and friendship.
Your profile picture makes any comment you post invalid sorry
I have always wanted Pikachu to evolve into Riachu for years now... I like Riachu so much more than Pika...
Great vid :D
Brock : hyper beam is a very good attack like giga impact
Brock: Both of Ash's Pokémon are water types, and they're totally weak against fire types!
If your stats are sh*t, then Hyper Beam can be worth it, in a 1 for 1. :3
Pikachu wants to impress every Pikachu without using the Thunderstone
Pikachu in the anime is probably lvl 100, and has to be one of the strongest Pikachu especially after 23 years or 9 gens, all that training and battles. Imagine how strong Pikachu would be if he evolved into Raichu.
Just like what brock said pikachu doesn't wanna evole
cause raichu evolves to quickly it never learn its speed that is raichu is slow
Except Alolan Raichu cause hes surfing in his tail.
Pikachu slapped the Thunder Stone, and he touched it
