Hey everybody! Here's an acoustic guitar cover of a fantastic alt-rock song from the 90s. Little Miss Can't Be Wrong is far and away our favourite Spin Doctors song... and we're aware that Two Princes is the popular favourite, but you just can't beat this track for sheer joy and energy.
Mat was incredibly worried about his lack of lead guitar abaility getting in the way of being able to recreate this song's iconic guitar solo, but after some meditation he came upon a genius workaround called 'Not playing the whole thing'. We don't know if you've tried this technique before, but we can highly reccoment it if you want to give the impression of being talented but impatient...
Those of you who've been following our adventures will know that this is track 2 from our latest acoustic covers album 'If The Mood Carries' (there's a link at the top of this description if you'd like to own a digital copy). We're delighted with the response to the record - especially considering we really went out of our way not to put anything on it that we don't absolutely love, even if more popular choices might increase sales... 🤣 Simon Cowell would tear us a new a**hole if he weren't so busy smelling his own farts.

PS - It's Mat here... As I write this, the video has just finished processing and appears to have dodged the youtube copyright algorithm, which makes no sense as the last vid was completely demonetised. There's no apparrent rhyme or reason to the rules, but the upshot is that we need you to watch this one twice. Our subs are growing but our watch-time is plummeting and I don't want to go back to working in that kitchen... 🤣

I haven't heard the Spin Doctors for quite a number of years, but there was a time this album was on replay for about three months straight (the singer looked like the double of a mate of mine - used to have a great time teasing him about that!) Love the way this swings Matt and Sophie.

What pickup are you using for your acoustic? Thanks!
It's a couple of different pickups - the M1 in the sound hole and an Element piezo under the saddle (both made by LR Baggs)

No effects... apart from a healthy dose of EQ and compression in post ;)
