We made this Butternut Squash Bisque yesterday. It looked fabulous, had a smooth silky texture and deep roasted flavor. The best we have ever tasted. We didn't have a boat motor so we used our blender. We love all your tips and especially the one about flavorings should be in the background. Thank you so much.

I look forward to Thursdays to watch your videos..I've watched so many different chefs over the years and taken so many culinarily classes, and I think you are the best of the best.
I used to watch Justin Wilson and loved how he would say onion (onyon) like you do, he was quite the character as yourself.
I wish I lived in Florida I would be at you school and restaurant all the time.
Grazie , Merci and Thank you you are a pleasure

I’ve loved Butternut Squash soup for around 40 years. I’ve cooked it myself for the past 20 years. Never thought of *peeling* the squash. It was fun to try, and much less dangerous than a big chef’s knife!
I don’t add syrup or sugar to my soup (not any more, anyway). I taste it, and if it isn’t sweet enough, I cook for another 10-15 minutes. The squash gets much sweeter!

I LOVE your channel! People may say you 'TALK' too much. But I appreciate you taking the time to explain... unlike TIC TOK! I learn the technique and it's STICKS! I wish I could have been able to attend your classes but this is the next best thing! Keep it up!

I made this tonight, I just finished eating and it is the best soup I've ever made. So delicious. I served it with some leftover cornbread.
I'm definitely going to make this again.
Unexpectedly, my Dad insulted me by calling this amazing soup a "pudding" after tasting it.

“I always forget something...” = that’s what make you more relatable to us, home cooks. And I will definitely make this soup as soon as I can get my hands on some squash. Thank you for your recipe.
    “Measure carefully” = 😂😂😂
    That’s not a blender. That’s a boat motor. 🤣🤣🤣

I like you talking through the instruction as well. As an instructor myself (different topic) I am clear that humans learn best by demonstration accompanied by explanation that includes context. Talk on!
