TY for the window removal demo! Thought they looked like just the glass itself could come out. Alas, removing the inset roof panel is EDIT: it *can* be done. Bit of jiggling and it popped right out when I went back to try it... 😑🙄
@@TLOverlander I'd already spent time scrubbing tree sap off of Baby Blue... 🤦🏻♀️ (fancy topcoat already paying for itself) I was worried about scraping the paint with the tight fit of the panel under the roof rack, but the factory one is mostly plastic so wasn't as rough as it could have been.
Have you found any good ways to store that gunner hatch when your seats are folded down and your big dog is back there? Also, any good resources for leveling out that back area when the seats are folded down... for the dog's comfort. It's all about the dog you know! TIA
@@acflaxen I dunno how I'd manage it all with the back seats down. Currently, I've done a 50% seat delete and I'm rigged for overlanding. All the rear space is for storage. With the rear seat bottoms flipped up, you can get the entire back level....just not flat. You just might have to leave the hatch at home. 🤷 The rear windows fit nicely, upright behind the front seats however!

Thanks for the reply, and the heads up. I have my Valkyrie rack on mine but I haven't tested the removal of the hatch on it yet with it mounted.
