@666ArchEnemy The guitar itself is. He used this guitars artwork as the foundation for his guitars style. If you look up guitar heroes - a finnish album similar to Roadrunner Records - Roadrunner United, you'll see him playing one of these guitars - I believe. Not sure.

Probably switch out the pickups for something dimarzio, maybe even have a gain boost put in. It would be MUUUUCH easier to aquire than any ESP SV, which looks the best IMO.

Yeah, i really like Uematsu's music. Those gamemusic songs just has lots of tracks so its hard to decide what tracks to play. But piano versions sounds great and youtube is full of those.
@givemeajackson not quite. The reason why alexi is so well respected not jsut because of his guitar skills but also because of his song production. He's able to make damm good solos and songs

Ok so like this is what is was like on my end: I'm watching and when you stopped playing, my head was resting in one hand, and I'd completely forgotten I was even watching anything. That was stunning work. Vivaldi's Summer is one of the best baroque pieces ever, and I recommend his Four Seasons to anyone (the original Baroque recordings, not transcriptions for organ or other instruments). Present guitarist excluded of course!

Everyone should try it ;)" That's what you say, maybe you should try, then. i mean, seriously you play kinda well, better than most suckers ruining vivaldi or bach (or stuff). But please, play it closer to the real score. It's maybe good, but when you know well the pieces it's VERY disturbing to hear non-correct notes, or skipped notes in a single riff (Vivaldi part lacks A lot for this). BTW ... "fair" guitar playin'.
I think his guitar is tuned in D standard, since Alexi Laiho plays the vivaldi piece in that tuning. As for his tone, he has alot of reverb with the treble at about 6 or 7 and the bass about the same, mids probably quite high. Also a fair amount of gain, 8 - 10, I'm guessing. (please note that this I'm estimating his EQ, I don't know for sure). Hope that helps.

when you sweep do you use the meat on your palm or the side of your thumb to mute it? I've heard about, and tried both ways. you seem pretty good at the way you do it so I want to know so I can practice it the way you do. lol. Great cover btw. \m/
Active pickups are really hard to play cleanly on, even with alot of distortion (Im referring to clean playing btw, not clean tone). My biggest gripe though is that they sound the same in every guitar, regardless of woods and such.

Classical music is very good in general. But Neo Classical Metal is so much better in my opinion. The Electric guitar makes it sound so much cooler.
