Thank you so much for rescuing poor little Arnold from what was most likely the hands of abusers, and giving him lots of love, rehabilitation, and patience……… And helping him find a furever home where he feels happy, comfortable, and loved. No dog (or any other furry baby) deserves to be abused in any way, shape, or form.
It's an absolute sin to abuse dogs or cats, or children!
Can’t rub his belly because his big wiener is in the way. THAT would a whole other show…most likely in Tijuana. 😂
may the abusers rot in hell
Don't automatically assume abuse. My mother's dog (now deceased) did this with people outside of our home and she was never abused in the slightest.
Poor Arnold probably went through so much. So glad he can trust and be happy now.
Dogs that have lived through abuse need special care. Thank goodness for these wonderful rescue and foster people!
I rescued 2 coonhounds that were abused. The older GiGi didn't trust men and it took over a year for her to trust me. She passed from cancer last year after 4 years with us. Her sister Gemma is still with us 5 years next month. After her sister died she became my best buddy because I comforted her for weeks after she lost her best friend.
What a GREAT Outcome for both you and Arnold👍
Dogs need to get a grip, get a haircut, get a job and stop rely on someone else to do everything for them. They need to dog up.
@@SoyAntonioGaming did that sound better in your head ?
Thank the lord for these kind people ❤
I can’t believe there’s people so evil that would even mistreat these little lovable animals, when all they give is nothing but love in return.
Agreed. There’s a special place in hell for people who abuse animals and children.
Right!?! There' has to be special place in hell for people like that they should be skinned with rusty blade dipped in alcohol
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the old owner was a tiktoker or something. It seems like chihuahuas are always picked on and harassed to get an angry reaction cause "lol angry small cute dog". Some people dont realize goading your dog is a type of abuse and can mess them up and make them lose trust
Arnold was so proud of his forever home. He couldn’t wait to show her his toys! Adorable! ❤
Brought tears to my eyes. So very happy he found such a lovely rescuer and his loving forever home. 🐾💖
How can anybody mistreat such a precious angel or any precious angels that way?
He wasn't angry, just so scared. He wasn't actually vicious, just warnings. Patience is a virtue, he is such a sweetheart.
He's so proud of his toys which was adorable. Animals are so resilient and I'm so glad for Arnold in finding trust and love with a great family.
ALL BEINGS HEAL AND RESPOND TO LOVE ! 😇✌️
Poor little guy..I can't imagine what he went through. To see his little tail wag was heart warming! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
It never ceases to amaze me how trusting a dog can truly be, even after they are abused. Thank you so very very much for giving Arnold the opportunity to trust again.
This Lady has treasure of patience with Arnold the terrified little soul but love and patience make wonders
Thanks to the foster mama and to the forever Family for giving Arnold the life he finally deserves
Hello Marie how are you doing today
@@stevenanthony8952 Stephen me old chompkins how are you?
Very brave of her to give him her bare fist... Not like it cannot be bitten... What a lovely little one; just blossomed with her love....
Trust me, as a former dog grooming instructor, I've had way worse bites from parakeets than small dogs like Chihuahuas. They don't have that much jaw strength, and at worst you'll end up with a bruise. Parakeets can cut to the bone.
@@k.s.k.7721 It's not about what's worse... No one wants to get bitten; that's all ! Anyone in her place would not make comparisons, and then give their bare fist because the bruise is going to be a small one compared to what a parakeet would give...
@@k.s.k.7721 My small dachsund/beagle rescue bit my hand and I needed tendon repair surgery. The infection from the bite was so bad I was in the hospital on IV antibiotics for a week. There was no warning before the bite but he was obviously abused and a fear biter. His small size didn't matter, that tiny mouth did a lot of damage!
I used to do the same thing with a feisty cat, it's just geometry. Little mouths can bite down on fingers easily, but not so easily with a large fist.
@@advocaterishitamall my guy it’s not poisonous, it’s not that big of a deal
I adopted a Bichon who had been abused….it took about one week of being terrified of my hubby to realize that not all men would kick him! He adores my husband, and follows him all around the house! All it takes is love….Punkin is in his forever home now with us!
Hello Suzanne how are you doing today
Love and kindness perform miracles! And they are both free of charge.
Hello Kim how are you doing today
So happy that angel can trust again. Dogs are so super sweet. A forever home for this angel 🎉🐾😍❤️
Ok I’m crying like real tears- “no one will ever be mean to you again...” God bless you. 🙏🏾💜
Omg he reminds me of my rescue comet! Same color and attitude. He was in an abusive home until we took him in. He lived to be 16 years old. Had to put him down a couple months back because he was suffering.... This brought tears to my eyes! I miss him everyday see you on the rainbow bridge my little comet !
LOVE HEAL ALL ! THANK YOU !!!
See, this is why I couldn't foster animals! I'd get waaaaaayyyy too attached and then I won't be able to give them up. This rescuer is an angel😇
@@francescaa8331 Yeah, I figured. Thank you🙂
Yep. 25+ yrs of doing dog rescue, tons of efforts doing everything else but I never fostered. Then 8 yrs ago an urgent situation cropped up with a chihuahua (who looks actually a lot like Arnold!) Not one intention of keeping him... Already had 2 dogs in an apt. Yeah he's sleeping behind me on the bed right now... Sigh.... Fostering is something not everyone can do. GOD BLESS THOSE WHO CAN AND DO FOSTER!! Can't save animals without you!!! xoxoxoxoxo
Good for you. That's what hoarders are made of!
Thank You to all the HUMANE BEINGS who worked to get Arnold into his perfect furever home. Love, kindness and patience from a RESCUE ANGEL and this TERRIFIED little BLESSING is now able to live a life with love and happiness. You people are wonderful. The planet needs more of you.
The other dog is beautiful gorgeous and amazing too!🥰🐕🥰
I raised my voice only once at my little Jemma Joy and her eyes got like saucers. Just that frightened her so much. I never did it again. She recently passed and I’m devastated. It was too soon. It always is too soon.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet baby💔
Yes it is. Sorry for your loss. My chihuahua doesn't like harsh tone of voice either and is easily frightened, so even if he's being naughty and I have to scold him, I do NOT scream harshly at him or make him feel physically vulnerable or threatened. I don't flail my arms or slam anything. I just let him know calmly that I"m not happy with what he's doing and he'll usually stop. Dogs are sensitive, ppl should not shout at them.
@@sakitoby1581 you are correct. I probably only said NO loudly. I didn’t rant or rave. I don’t scream at my animals. They don’t understand. They’re not people.
@@cynthiaamitrano8915 Yes and esp chihuahuas, they are so tiny and vulnerable, imagine being that tiny and how scary the world can be. But I've seen men scream at their pitbulls and I hated that too. NOT ok. I wish more ppl would think about this...
Why did you yell at her? What is wrong with you?
Oh my gosh, God Bless you all for your patience and love for his beautiful soul.
So so happy he has a forever home and he is HAPPY.
🥰😍💖☺️
Bless this beautiful dog and the people who helped him. Any creature can be fearful and growly if they've been betrayed. And the cruelest people intentionally get that creature to trust just so they can hurt them once again, and it is despicably evil. So see that little dog in yourself if you've been hurt and allow good people in who are kind in your life, but protect your inner dog from those who will harm you. Peace. ✌
Hello Emily how are you doing today
Chihuahuas can be the most loving, snuggly dogs! My little chihuahua is super sweet and so smart.
I’m so glad this little bundle of love was given the home-life he deserves, but it makes you wonder what those who had hurt him are capable of doing to an equally vulnerable child.
Geez, this had me crying like a baby. So happy for Arnold, God Bless these good people.💖
And that's the job of a foster - to show animals that not all people are bad, mean, a-holes ❤❤❤
Well Arnold knows he’s cute now!! How adorable.
Really heartwarming and gratifying.
Thousands of hours of RUclips and this was the first video that brought a tear to my eye. We don’t deserve dogs, they are just too beautiful
God bless ur big heart ❤️ and such caring love for Arnold ..
When given the opportunity, Arnold became a sweet pie❤️!
He was so cute and proud of his toys!!! He wanted to show them off!!
Thank you for your patience with this terrified boy!
Arnold looks just like my chihuahua that had just passed away not too long ago. I'm glad that Arnold found his forever home. Arnold's bark sounds just like my Chihuahua's bark.
OMG ,im crying how can people be so cruel to kids and animals ,love him
It always brings tears to my eyes how trauma changes an animal. have a happy life Arnold, have a good one :)
just heartbreaking to see how scared he was in the beginning that poor baby. Thank you for having patience with him so he could learn to trust again. Anna In Ohio
That poor sweet doggie was abused. But dogs are very forgiving and just need time to rebuild trust. They are an example to the human population. Live long and prosper, Arnold!!
Did you notice, Arnold was showing off his bed?
@@matchrocket1702 Hahah that was so cute and his toys too.
This is the best man in human being on this planet,. Thank you Lee for all you do on making dogs that have been abused and the neglected. There is nobody else like you on this planet... I have been following you since you started To Do Instagram and to see the changes you have done on dogs that have been abused neglected has been. Remarkable for people to see what you have done to allow them to be on this planet so happy and free and loved and being able to be dogs....
OMG dogs and all animals so need our respect and love. How can we mistreat them. You are angels ❤❤
What sweet Arnold must of gone through!!! But that is now far behind him. Thank you to his rescuer for just giving him the love & time he needed to realize he wouldn't be harmed anymore. So happy he now is with a loving family who truly loves & spoils him!
Love how you checked on him.....that's a bond ❤❤❤👍👍
Ok, this one made me cry. Im so sorry Arnold someone hurt you. KARMA.
I'm not a chihuahua type of girl but I make an exception with Arnold. He is lush. I would adopt him. He is cute. So glad he found the right home.

That"s the miracle of dog rescue, love and patience! Life's so good now!! Beautiful story😍
Poor thing must have been used as a punching bag. But love heals. Dogs have this amazing ability to forgive and forget. He’s recovered his happy spirit; that’s all that matters, now.
Great turnaround with your compassion
God bless you for your kindness.
Bless you Arnold ❤️
Thank you so much for respecting his life!! He’s such a beautiful boy!
it broke my hear seeing this dog beeing so scared! But you did it and helped him feeling safe and loved again!Thank You!
I had a somewhat similar experience with an abused, almost feral 9-month-old kitten I found outside once, I named him Ghostie, because you would see this flash of a white cat sneaking from hiding place to hiding place, disappearing if you looked at him. I started feeding him and talking to him. He gradually came out of hiding, but only if I were there. After some 3 months of this, I was able to get close enough to touch him and rescue him and take him home. He was one of my earlier rescues and lived to be 16 years old.
Aw, I love this story!! He is where he should be now!
Hello Diana how are you doing today
Our baby Spike was abused. It took a year of constant work before we could pet his beautiful little face. He would smash it down into whatever he was sitting or laying on trying to protect himself. Poor baby. Suffered from nightmares too. We adopted him January 9th 2020 and just recently I saw him wagging his tail in his sleep instead of screaming in terror.
What an absolute cutie pie ♥️
Hello Carrieann how are you doing today
its amazing what a little love can do
one week?? that's impressive! (human AND dog!)
I could never foster. I would not be able to let go.
Consistently jamming your fist in a dog's face when they clearly don't like it is probably a bad move. Glad he's happy now.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing! Seems like trying to force an already frightened animal.
I didn't like looking at that fist.....imagine a tiny dog who may have experienced some type of trauma.
That's a happy puppy. Oh my goodness 😂
Thank you for taking care of the little fella!
Why would somebody get a dog just to make him so scared to somebody and the treat him so mean that's horrible. Thank God that you came into his life and now he has a beautiful one
this proves that you should never give up on a dog even if theyre like that because one day they will do exactly this at 1:33 in the video.
Hi I feel so sad coz I just lose my little sweet chihuahua 5 days ago I miss her somuch theyrd really sweet n lovable 😢 😔 😞 💖 😭 thanks for sharing this video ❤❤❤❤🎉
Best way to get an abused dog like this to warm up to you. Is not to force it. What you're doing is causing anxiety.
I'm surprised he doesn't bite you. You are brave.
I concur, Arnold doesn't have enough toys.
😂😂😂
my friend had a couple of chihuahuas, and they drew blood on multiple people. they would chase and bite people’s legs and ankles. they can be scary; it just depends on the owner like many other breeds.
The ONLY reason they would do that is they were abused at so time ok n their lives.
luci, what a stupid useless comment 🧐
@@sharonholdren7588 Not necessarily. As someone who works in the veterinary field, I've come across plenty of smaller dogs that have received minimal to no socialization or training, simply because the owners think that the behavior described above is "cute" and won't cause any harm. They lived in otherwise loving homes that simply didn't give them the discipline to not behave that way.
That's not to say that abuse doesn't cause that kind of behavior - just that it's not always the case.
@@christraven - indeed. I’m more scared of little dogs than big dogs lol. The little ones are anxious and feisty often due to owner neglect and thinking very little of giving small doggies the dog care they need. They’re treated like baby humans instead and are miserable for it.
Chihuahuas are the worst
That family abused him and that’s not okay, but now he has a better family
adorable.
My spirit animal
I really don't have words to say but I can say these Thank you so much 🥰🥰😘🙏
This is a beautiful story. It's amazing what patience, kindness and love can do. I'm so pleased that this little soul was rescued and is now feeling safe and loved. Thank you to this wonderful lady for helping him! 😊
Hello Mystical how are you doing today
Oooohhhh he's so cute,I want to take him home.🥰😍🤩
Arnold Snuggle-Wagger... Happy tears 🤗 🐶 🐾
Most places would have euthanized him as aggressive and un adoptable. So glad you had patience and compassion for this poor abused dog and changed his life.
“Life is good now” because you are a very special human being, you showed Arnold what love and care really means! Thank you so much , Happy tears from Scotland 😢🥰🏴🇬🇧

So wonderful!
ANIMAL RESCUERS ARE THE BEST HUMANS!!!
So it's obvious that whoever was abusing that dog was probably kicking on its side, or in the gut, etc since it's always instinctively trying to protect its side whenever the person puts their hands near those areas. The dog also has enough trust that it wont attack the person but is telling her to stay from those parts of its body because they still hurt.
That's awesome ❤ bless you

Gotta love such heart warming videos with happy endings !!! 🤓👍
Even when he's scared, you can see how sweet he is.
God bless you!
Lovely story
I'm so happy for Arnold after all he's been through. He's such a sweet boy and he deserves a second chance in this life. Thanks for saving him . God bless you 🙏❤️💯🐕😺🌍
This poor dog is anticipating abuse and pain when he sees her hand coming towards him because some lowlife evil jerk caused him so much abuse it's sickening. How wonderful for people like this woman who refused to give up on him and taught him to trust. Life is good for Arnold now - YAY!!!
poor little man was abused by an awful human, but glad he found good humans!
Poor little Arnaldo just had to get his confidence up ❤🐕 (Someone was definitely mean to him 😡)
I have had a few chewtoys and never seen one so frightened. Bless you.
Love his name. 😁
Of course he screamed when you come close to him with a closed hand. He thought you were going to hit him, poor baby.
Great job!!!
