    To all who keep saying that Africa has 54 countries, officially it is 55 as stated in the video! Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (Western Sahara) is the one most people are missing out on the count. It is a country that Morocco is claiming to be part of her territories. But Sahrawi Republic, as it is also known, is recognised as a separate country by the African Union. We think the African Union would know all its members. au.int/en/memberstates For further reference you might want to read this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Union and/or this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_states_of_the_African_Union

Africa is not "that land" Africa is a whole continent with several lands (55 countries)

      @africawebtv1  5 лет назад

      @KEEM KapAlot Powerful. When you put your thoughts into words like that one can only respect your feeling and wish you strength. Thank you for taking time to explain your views. If you have not visited any part of Africa, maybe you should. Sometimes all that is needed to validate you is to see people who look like you in their natural environment. It might or it might not work for you. We just spoke to an Ethiopian-Dutch who had a vaguely similar experience as per his true identity. See the link here. You may laugh the the interviewee giving the response as Saudi Arabia being part of Africa but for those of us who have been around for a long time will recall that indeed the 'Middle East' was part of Africa but the geopolitics of recent has erased this from history. The Arabs have never wanted to associate with Africa hence the break away.

    • @africawebtv1
      @africawebtv1  6 лет назад

      @Ron kaggs Seriously all you have to do is to look at the map of the globe to see that Saudi Arabia is not part of the African continent. This is not politics. This is just a geographical fact. Egypt which is sometimes included in the so-called "Middle East" is part of Africa.

So all people of the African diaspora have room for improvement to learn more about the continent of Africa. Africa is the most interesting continent of them all. Just a few fun facts: The African continent speak more languages than any other continent. The African continent has the second largest population. The African continent has more natural resources than any other continent in the world. Africa is the fastest growing continent in the world ( the country of Nigeria just to name one)
