When Patricia Highsmith wrote The Price Of Salt/Carol back in 1952, it did moderately well in Hardcover but when it went into Paperback in 1953 she gained Cult Status getting letters from Women thanking her for making them feel less guilty of who they were.
When I saw The Title I thought it was The Song By an A & B Group called "Touch". They sounded a lot like Full Force (who as you know co-collaborated with Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam) on "I Wonder If I Take You Home".
Wish they would come back.
