  • YAHOO. Today we launch our new collaboration with Moog Audio (a music store in Toronto & Montreal that has been very kind to KNOBs).
    Each week we will upload a new video just like this: quick summaries of synths, pedals, etc.
    Micro demos (in both French & English).
    They will be hosted on Moog's channel so head on over there if you're into it:
    • Teenage Engineering - ...
    Thanks!

    Thank you for doing this. It gives me hope there are still people in the world who spend their time in a worthwhile way. ;-)

    i was so confused as to why Moog needed a teenage engineering video but now i see that its just a music store's name as well

      Probably Not Cereal Yep. From what I understand talking to the store staff the store began operations between the original Moog Music shutting down and resuming operations. To those living in Toronto or Montreal it's an existential threat to your wallet.

    It's going to take me a bit to figure out what I just watched. Just gimme a minute, I'll get there.

    I’m French and I speak English so it means that I’m going to watch two videos ? Lucky me.

    Moog Audio Mtl has to be my favourite store ever. I should just sign my paychecks over to them and cut out the middle.

    i've never thought much of these til now. the power of knobs i guess eh?
    and where can i find one with that nifty case you show at the end?

    • @Knobs
      @Knobs  6 лет назад +2

      They are impressive little things. I'm a big fan of the effect system. Great for performance. The nifty case is actually made by Teenage Engineering themselves so you should be able to buy them most places. They make a big difference. Very solid feeling.

      If you happen to get a Pocket Operator do yourself a favor and don't buy the Teenage Engineering silicone case. They take all the clicky-ness out of the buttons and make the instrument much less responsive and harder to play. Greg at Dich Studios makes way better cases that retain the original button click feel of the Pocket Operators while actually protecting them from falls and being thrown in a bag. I made the mistake of purchasing all the silicone cases when they first came out and then ended up selling and replacing all of them with the hard cases from Dich Studios. Here's a link to the site: dichstudios.com/collections/po-gear/ I'm not affiliated with them in any way but Greg has been very helpful and makes the best Pocket Operator cases bar none. Any time I buy a new PO the first thing I do afterwards is order one of his cases for it. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.

    just ... dont sell your soul Knobs and stay honest. getting paid by companies (or funded in other ways) is always the first step into commercialism and we really dont need any more of such videos - youtube is already full of these!!!!
