I remember the first Cars song that absolutely flipped me out when I heard it over the air was Good Times Roll. Everything about it - the opening drum beat, Elliot’s ridiculously awesome guitar, Ric’s lyrics, those backing vocals…what a great time to be young in 1978.

i love it, but i hate that who ever cut out the beginning of Candy O, why on earth would anyone do that!
