Hey Alex I'm not sure if you've ever been to one but the grand prix events that teamworks run every week are a lot of fun, you get 5 races then the fastest 8 overall get a final race for a little trophy. I used to properly kart race but had to stop because of money, these events are really fun now for me. Once I got to race against Jake Giddings who is currently racing in the Renault clio cup.
Im in xrl and we are having a league meet up in august for a karting day, you should see if apex would try and do a day aswel to see what everyone is like
last i looked it was 24.1 I had it at one point with 24.3 but they reset because these times were set with dunlop tyres and now they have the cheaper tyres again (the new karts came with dun lops)
the reason that you couldn't reach your best lap in the last 5 laps was the tyre pressures ! after some laps tyre pressures are getting higher and as a result the kart spins !
If all the F1 2012 RUclipsrs were to ever meet up, we should DEFINITELY go karting together! It's one thing being quick on a computer game, but it's another being quick in real life ;D
FINALLY we get to see some real life skills from you, Alex :) I would like to see more of this, too. Also, what kind of karts are those? Can't find a brand name...
ooo, very inconsistent lap times :p wouldnt expect that from you haha,i loveeee karting! intending to get a kart in coming months again, interesting fact my last kart its engine was tuned by jenson buttons dad :) do more of these though and try get to outdoor karting :)
I don't think he's going to go all the way for Germany just for some Karting. Anyway, there are lots of big outdoor ones in England, but they're just quite expensive
although quickest times were only 3 tenths apart average lap time was 1 second difference, but obviously it would have been closer had he not let the other dude pass (which is fair as he said to show some racing)
The only problem with indoor karting, apart from the majority being automatic, is the logic of many drivers. when being lapped they stay right in the middle as if their battling for position.

For the next karting video, i would like to see a track with more straights to gaine more speed.. Maybe an outside track is better than this cute hall.. :D

Yea, the laps were within 2 tenths of each other when I was out of traffic. :)
