Holy shit that was awesome! They were so evenly matched throughout it that you could see it going either way, and Akuma was able to land that critical blow towards the end to nab him the victory.

Raoh went blow for blow against Kenshiro, who would go on to fight Kaioh, Raoh's older brother who was capable of causing a disaster that could match and even surpass the nuclear apocalypse that vaporised nearly all of the water on the planet and tore the Earth's crust open. Even in a half-dead state and way below his base strength Raoh was still able to split the gigantic cloud above them
If this was Akuma from Asura's Wrath or Tekken, then yeah he'd win handily, otherwise Raoh just gives him a love tap and then Akuma explodes, and this is before Raoh even needs to use Art of Dragon's Breathing which would triple his power, not to mention the fact that Raoh is already significantly faster. At that point Akuma's only shot at taking him out would be with the Raging Demon, which to his credit will absolutely one-shot thanks to the amount of blood on Raoh's hands.

I was 12 when Akuma debuted. Thought he was the absolute coolest Street Fighter character ever, been watching him stomp ass for 30 years now, turned 42 this year. It just never gets old.
Akuma is a great fit for Fist of the North Star when you think about it where Martial Artists are kings but Akuma wouldn't give two craps about ruling others as a tyrant/dark god unlike Raoh/Ken-oh although its a shame this was a death match but that's just how it is in the world of "Hokuto no Ken"
Akuma would thematically be that character who's so far above the rest because goals aren't worldly. He desires to ascend beyond it.
He doesn't seek to rule or oppress. All he wants is to attain the ultimate power.
"To go from being human...to beyond human...to beyond demon...to reach heaven!"

Realistically,this is plot armor,Raoh would be able to kill him with a touch.
I mean, realistically, Akuma/Gouki can sink islands, train at the bottom of the ocean and jump from said bottom to the surface with enough force to cut a nuclear sub in two.
Raoh has more one-hit kill tricks, but Akuma has much better feats that imply significantly higher stats, and he has a one-hit kill of his own.
Plus, he has already fought a user of a Chinese assassination-based martial arts style that utilizes pressure points (Gen). Twice, no less!
It's actually a lot more even than it looks at first glance, though I agree that the fight, regardless of the winner, would be over after the first exchange.

Another one who did not read/watching properly Hokuto no Ken manga and anime. Raoh like Kenshiro are multicontinental/moon busting level>>> island level. Musou Tensei and Anryu Tenha are supreme godly techniques. Oni Akuma has nothing to do with a god death touch, no matter how strong he would be.

I want the alternate ending that is not only more likely to happen, but that we all deserve. After that final blow, Raoh body lands, broken within an inch of his Life and manages to mutter, "I'm sure it took longer on your tough hide, but the moment the battle began, you were already dead." Fade to black and the sound of a bloody explosion.
That was a really good fight,really showcased how powerful Raoh was d fact that Akuma had to literally change into a demon proves that you really need to turn into a demon to overcome monsters!!!!! Nuff respect mih G!

That was amazing, but I'm surprised Akuma wasn't KO'd after the first few hits. Either he can block the tsubo points, or Roah couldn't hit them.
In Fist of the North Star, pressure point assassin is much stronger, but in Street Fighter there are fighters who use that same exact fighting style such as Gen, Aki and Yang. Gouki knows every fighting style there is like Yujiro.
@@BigBlackGWAR Yeah, I can see Akuma surviving the School of Great Bear’s techniques. tbf though, Gen, Aki, and Yang can’t make their opponents head explode. I think.

And that’s non canon akuma but we haven’t seen raoh do anything on that level of strength, skill, or feats. That was a horrible lowball. Akumas been around for a while in search of the strongest fighters and he has a better track record wins over raoh. Who tf has raoh fought in the desert that’s equivalent to akuma multiple times and won?

Solid fight, personally think Raoh was heavy underutilized but Akuma looked cool, hopefully next time this very talented animator does a FotNS Hokuto Shinken Practitioner he has them use the pressure points instead of just punching them.

Just a little fun fact, Oni or Akumas last phase, has matched with Asura, and in the game, it ended with them being in a tie as they fought for so long i think, they turned to stone (correct me if im wrong)

I was kinda looking for Akuma to lose here...since Fist of the North Star just needs to touch pressure points. And by touching those pressure points, Akuma should have been defeated. I respect Akuma's strength, but the gradual to instant power of Hokuto No Shinken was not shown here.
