Yes, it does. Whether you like it or not conflict is a big part of Shonen. Conflicts that are largely physical in nature. To say you don’t care about powerscaling is saying you don’t care about a core aspect of the series. As for who wins that should be pretty obvious.

I wouldn't be so sure. We still don't know the full strength of Shanks. Not to mention, he's a master of all three Haki. This means he should possess a future site that allows him to look over ten seconds into the future, and Armament Flow Which would allow him to break through defenses and do damage from the inside. Meaning he'll be able to avoid the black flames and tsukuyomi and breakthrough Susano.

It’s called amenotojikara. He can only swap places with himself though. He can’t just teleport someone to some random location. You are really downplaying EMS too. Let's make this easy, shanks is powerful but he hasn't fought anything even remotely close to Sasuke and susanoo . Once susanoo was brought out it was over ,taking a punch from that is like being punched by a living mountain that isn't holding back. This is the same Sasuke that fought full powered madara . Shanks doesn't understand genjustu because Noone in one piece uses that type of skill . Shanks is fast but not on Sasukes level .maradaras susanoo was shown to split multiple mountins and I doubt he could tank a planetary devastation from Sasuke that's a full blown meteor or two hitting him point blank . If worse comes to worse Sasuke can make this man think he's fighting him when Sasuke is just sitting on the side lines . First off, even with verse equalizations one piece doesn’t have any energy manipulation(haki doesn’t count because it’s the manifestation of their will) so genjutsu would not work. Secondly, shanks is physically faster than sasuke, but sasuke can get over that due to his hax and abilites overall. And what makes you assume shanks can’t cut one of those small meteors? There were a few times people weaker than shanks cut meteors. And I disagree with the first statement, shanks has definitely fought way stronger people than a living mountain hitting him, he can clash with whitebeard(even though sick he was still insanely strong) plus shanks still has future sight(which can make him react to anything sasuke can throw at him many seconds in advance) and armament haki is no joke either. Either way it’s not as one-sided as people would make it, shanks doesn’t easily stomp him, but sasuke doesn’t either. Both have lots of win cons so I’d give it a 50/50 chance of either one of them winning.

Secondly Shanks hasn't split a meteor in half I've seen one piece the guy hasn't even met anyone that can launch an attack that big . Thirdly the haki that Shanks has can put people to sleep and he has armor haki as well. But again Shanks isn't anywhere near Sasuke speed when him and Naruto battled Madera and kagura ,Shanks hasn't dodged lightning which if Sasuke uses kirin would fry him almost instantly there's also susanoo that he's mastered and amaterasu which is a flame that burns forever . Someone made a video talking about how a fight between prime whitebeard and hashirama would go, and whitebeard would win, and seeing as shanks isn’t that far behind if not has surpassed primebeard, it’s safe to assume that the version of sasuke showed in this vid is weaker than shanks. I am done arguing, go watch some power scaling videos where they show sasuke and other relative characters from Naruto getting dog washed by the admirals.

I wouldn't be so sure. We still don't know the full strength of Shanks. Not to mention, he's a master of all three Haki. This means he should possess a future site that allows him to look over ten seconds into the future, and Armament Flow Which would allow him to break through defenses and do damage from the inside. Meaning he'll be able to avoid the black flames and tsukuyomi and breakthrough Susano.

@@calliefalls3325 Just look it up on the wiki. Advanced Armament Haki works similar to the gentle fist. That means he can attack through susano and hit Sasuke.
I'm not saying that Shanks can defeat Sasuke, I'm just saying that It wouldn't be a fall on sweep. Shanks will hold his ground, and we still don't know all of his tricks.

Rinnegan is debatable, but Sasuke has not exploited it like Nagato/Pain, so the three advanced hakis Shanks level are superior. The only chance Sasuke has is teleporting and abandoning Shanks to a random dimension and good luck there.

Let's make this easy, shanks is powerful but he hasn't fought anything even remotely close to Sasuke and susanoo . Once susanoo was brought out it was over ,taking a punch from that is like being punched by a living mountain that isn't holding back. This is the same Sasuke that fought full powered madara . Shanks doesn't understand genjustu because Noone in one piece uses that type of skill . Shanks is fast but not on Sasukes level .maradaras susanoo was shown to split multiple mountins and I doubt he could tank a planetary devastation from Sasuke that's a full blown meteor or two hitting him point blank . If worse comes to worse Sasuke can make this man think he's fighting him when Sasuke is just sitting on the side lines . Naruto characters like Sasuke and Naruto have too many skills that make them busted .

First off, even with verse equalizations one piece doesn’t have any energy manipulation(haki doesn’t count because it’s the manifestation of their will) so genjutsu would not work. Secondly, shanks is physically faster than sasuke, but sasuke can get over that due to his hax and abilites overall. And what makes you assume shanks can’t cut one of those small meteors? There were a few times people weaker than shanks cut meteors. And I disagree with the first statement, shanks has definitely fought way stronger people than a living mountain hitting him, he can clash with whitebeard(even though sick he was still insanely strong) plus shanks still has future sight(which can make him react to anything sasuke can throw at him many seconds in advance) and armament haki is no joke either. Either way it’s not as one-sided as people would make it, shanks doesn’t easily stomp him, but sasuke doesn’t either. Both have lots of win cons so I’d give it a 50/50 chance of either one of them winning.
@PeterWouldWin genjutsu affects the Mind not the body ,Sasuke has the sharingan and rennagan the latter can make you see illusions from the user looking you in the eye like itachi and his sharingan, as I said Shanks hasn't battled anyone that uses illusions and hasn't been shown to break them. Secondly Shanks hasn't split a meteor in half I've seen one piece the guy hasn't even met anyone that can launch an attack that big . Thirdly the haki that Shanks has can put people to sleep and he has armor haki as well. But again Shanks isn't anywhere near Sasuke speed when him and Naruto battled Madera and kagura ,Shanks hasn't dodged lightning which if Sasuke uses kirin would fry him almost instantly there's also susanoo that he's mastered and amaterasu which is a flame that burns forever . Sasuke has too many skills that Shanks can't handle, mind you this is not mentioning shadows clone jutsu ,summoning jutsu and being able to read all of Shanks movements with the sharingan. How do you beat a guy that can read your EVERY move?

And it’s pretty obvious shanks can cut meteors when zoro can do it, and by logic shanks>zoro currently. It’s pretty obvious that shanks is faster than sasuke, a simple one piece and Naruto power scaling video can show you that, and even if he isn’t faster, he’s atleast relative. Coupled with the fact that he has future sight haki, and his conq haki can potentially disrupt others concentration(atleast for a second or two) he can definitely hold his own and even win against sasuke and any other Naruto character. Someone made a video talking about how a fight between prime whitebeard and hashirama would go, and whitebeard would win, and seeing as shanks isn’t that far behind if not has surpassed primebeard, it’s safe to assume that the version of sasuke showed in this vid is weaker than shanks. I am done arguing, go watch some power scaling videos where they show sasuke and other relative characters from Naruto getting dog washed by the admirals.
