There’s a certain someone in this comment section that keeps saying Dak Prescott won MVP in his rookie year. That’s false, he won ROY which is not the same thing. Matt Ryan won MVP that year, throughout Dak’s career so far, he has not won an MVP award ever. Just to clear that up for y’all.
He’s been hated on for so long that he’s become the most underrated QB in the league. He’s really not that bad coming from someone who watches every game and sees every throw and snap.
Looking back at Daniel Jones' rookie season, I noticed that he has immense talent. I would not give up on Daniel Jones as a possible franchise quarterback. His favorite receivers in 2019 were Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate. The offensive line in 2019 was much better than in 2021. People who have soured on Daniel Jones should watch this video.
That kid made some dynamite throws, he threaded the needle. Pass long and accurate back foot fades and lasers over the middle. He probably made more crazy accurate throws in his rookie year than manning has in the last four.
Broncos my number 2 team cause I'm a huge giant fan but saying that I'm also a huge manning fan so when Peyton got betrayed by the colts I supported him till the end.
i’ve been watching this kid since his first college start, he’s been putting in the work. giants can count on him, he’s never had the best receivers either. dj is amazing and hopefully gets more rings than brady 🤭
This kid is a good QB he's been hit every play they don't have anyone that can block. No wide outs on this team he can pass the ball he can't catch it too. That's why he fumbles so much NO PROTECTION at all
We laughed on draft day... but man, Danny Dimes more than proved he belongs in the NFL. He fixes his fumbling and the Giants 110% have Eli’s successor. That Darius Slayton kid is pretty good too 😏
When i think about his rookie year in a good offense, that makes me believe he may really have a chance this year with Dabol. judges offenses were trash…
The throws this guy can make are incredible. We got a good one on our hands, and it seems the front office want to make sure the OL is good enough to protect him and Barkley. We will be seeing an improvement from the 2019 season, whenever the 2020 season happens
We utilized some of our weapons way to late in the season! The Jones and Smith chemistry will be big in the future. Engram just needs to stay healthy and we have a good TE duo
He was brought up but the same dude that worked both Manning’s. I watched him play at Duke and he was awesome. He even bounces on his toes like Peyton. One main difference, this kid can run if need be.
8:30 had to be one of the most special plays this year & look at the circumstances , 4 & 18 under duress, steps up in the pocket & delivers a beauty for a TD .. WOW
If he didn't get injured and miss those 2 games, he would have easily broken the rookie record for most TD passes. He had a solid rookie year especially with all the injured offensive weapons and poor o-line. His stats are nearly identical with Tom Brady in rating, QBR, pass %, yards per reception and TD passes (but played far less games than Brady).
Fumbling is the biggest thing but the other stuff like recognizing blitz getting rid of the ball quicker and some of the bad decisions will be fixed very quickly he can definitely be one of the best ever in the nfl and one of the best qbs in the league
Man they really ruined my guy dimes just watching this is breaking my heart where is this Daniel Jones at seem like he had so much confidence in his throws back when
Yup. They took way too long to get him a average oline and a wr1. He's a shell if the player he came in as. People forget his rookie season. The giants destroyed his career
He has a lot of potential. Very high ceiling. Can definitely be a star and very special in this league quickly. He reminds me a bit of Jimmy Garappolo Peyton manning and Matt Ryan
I have to say that I was impressed with the kid. I think that the team needs to keep improving around him. I hope that they can pick up a receiver who can be that number one threat, while Slayton and Sheppard are great second and third options. And of course, that tackle position needs to be a priority. I was impressed with Jones' TD-Int ratio being so good in his rookie year, with such a subpar team to do it for him. Go blue!
People still hate on DJ after a good rookie season. In my personal opinion he should get Rookie of the year considerations. Yeah he have the fumbles that will be corrected.
In the rookie year turnovers don’t matter as much. It’s about the potential he showed. Keep in mind he had a better passer rating than aaron Rodgers and a better completion percentage than Tom Brady
The giants have a very underrated offense. Tate is TOUGH. Shep is solid. Evan Engram. Possibly the best all around RB in the game in Saquon. Darius Slayton can BALL. now Andrew Thomas next to will Hernandez at OL. Danny dimes CRUSHED expectations as a rookie. This team just needs more help on defense and they’ll be in position to be successful!
This kid is a lot better than what people are giving him credit for. I thought the Giants organization was a joke after drafting this kid over Haskins. But I can say that he has proved me wrong so far. You could honestly have a argument that he was the best rookie QB this season, Majority of his stats are as good if not better than Murray’s.
This may be a premature guess but I wouldn't be surprised if this guy wins 2020 season MVP after Lamar and Mahomes surprised everyone in back to back years.
@@guttygut1 yeah either or the 1:10 showcases mobility footwork arm strength and s few other key qb elements, so i lean towards this as his most impressive, very promising rookie campaign for daniel as a whole

And Y’all were mocking the man on draft day say the giants were fools could not want to see it blow up in those doubters faces. Very good rookie season and next year Daniel only gonna get better.
if the eagles make it past he first round i will mark my words but this division was historically awful and the injuries lead to so many weak point 4 the eagles lets see :)
Great pocket presence, amazing window throwing, and good reads. He just needs to learn when to throw the ball away. Can be a playoff team with a real number 1 wr and a Def.
@@killakam5981 its weird how people say haskins is struggling because he is with the redskins but fail to acknowledge that Josh rosen was with the Cardinals last year, calling him a bust.
. Get him help on the line and watch his numbers and name be right there with Josh Allen and Justin Herbert. This guy can throw and I’m glad he’s being coached out of his foolish past plays. Getting the ball out quick and accurately has got the offense clicking better instead of waiting for someone to be super o open down the field and getting sacked, his quick decision making is being sharpened. NBASPORTLEGEND NBASPORTLEGND You need a new QB
@@hotdogstandman you need to let people have opinions
UKNOW nah we have our future franchise QB
UKNOW what the heck r u talking about?😂
Hoyt M Thank you the only cowboys fan I respect
There’s a certain someone in this comment section that keeps saying Dak Prescott won MVP in his rookie year. That’s false, he won ROY which is not the same thing. Matt Ryan won MVP that year, throughout Dak’s career so far, he has not won an MVP award ever. Just to clear that up for y’all.
That's what I kept telling him, but apparently since I'm "I'm Muslim" he thinks i must know nothing about football.
You all know I met him on draft day. Right. He is an amazing kid and talented player and leader.
prob acted just like eli such a class act and sneaky sexy leader maybe?
Lol 😃
He’s been hated on for so long that he’s become the most underrated QB in the league. He’s really not that bad coming from someone who watches every game and sees every throw and snap.
just wait till the give him a proper number 1 receiver. No disrespect to Stearling Sheapard but he's not quiet there yet.
Darius Slayton looks very solid though
Slayton can be a two. But Sheppard is a slot wr. Maybe we get a #1 this year. We have the cap space.
You were right. Franchise QB
@@vigilance8650 they called us crazy 😒
Glad Giants are going to give him a contract!
That kid made some dynamite throws, he threaded the needle. Pass long and accurate back foot fades and lasers over the middle. He probably made more crazy accurate throws in his rookie year than manning has in the last four.
Glad to see the Giants found their guy they're my #2 team
Broncos my number 2 team cause I'm a huge giant fan but saying that I'm also a huge manning fan so when Peyton got betrayed by the colts I supported him till the end.
i’ve been watching this kid since his first college start, he’s been putting in the work. giants can count on him, he’s never had the best receivers either. dj is amazing and hopefully gets more rings than brady 🤭
This kid is a good QB he's been hit every play they don't have anyone that can block. No wide outs on this team he can pass the ball he can't catch it too. That's why he fumbles so much NO PROTECTION at all
Agreed
We laughed on draft day... but man, Danny Dimes more than proved he belongs in the NFL. He fixes his fumbling and the Giants 110% have Eli’s successor. That Darius Slayton kid is pretty good too 😏
Slayton is in the perfect spot going forward with Daniel,Jones
When i think about his rookie year in a good offense, that makes me believe he may really have a chance this year with Dabol. judges offenses were trash…
he’s a great qb. just needs to work on ball control. once he handles the fumbling problem, he can easily be a top 10 qb
Daniel Jones, Kyle murray, and the jags qb are the best rookie qb
Gardner Minshew my dude
The throws this guy can make are incredible. We got a good one on our hands, and it seems the front office want to make sure the OL is good enough to protect him and Barkley. We will be seeing an improvement from the 2019 season, whenever the 2020 season happens
We utilized some of our weapons way to late in the season! The Jones and Smith chemistry will be big in the future. Engram just needs to stay healthy and we have a good TE duo
Darius Slayton
Ellison is good too
He was brought up but the same dude that worked both Manning’s. I watched him play at Duke and he was awesome. He even bounces on his toes like Peyton. One main difference, this kid can run if need be.
As Giant Fan since 75 I think DJ will be GD.
Clean up some of the fumbles and he has a bright future ahead
Deff and it won't be hard to do so
I have to say that I was impressed with the kid. Go blue!
DJ needs to get out of NY and go somewhere where tgey run west coast offense. Pat Shurmer ran west Coast offense and DJ thrived on it.
jones and slayton already goats
People still hate on DJ after a good rookie season. In my personal opinion he should get Rookie of the year considerations. Yeah he have the fumbles that will be corrected.
He deserved to be a finalist
2:31 was pretty badass ngl. I wish he could make plays like this all the time
We found our guy Danny Dimes 🙏💯
with a better line and some more options this kid really can do it
I see a good future for Daniel Jones
New oline and coaches all around. Tough schedule but we'll be in every fight all season! It has just begun!!! LET'S GO BIG BLUE!!
In the rookie year turnovers don’t matter as much. It’s about the potential he showed. Keep in mind he had a better passer rating than aaron Rodgers and a better completion percentage than Tom Brady
Lamar jackson had plenty of turnovers in his rookie season
The giants have a very underrated offense. Tate is TOUGH. Shep is solid. Evan Engram. Possibly the best all around RB in the game in Saquon. Darius Slayton can BALL. now Andrew Thomas next to will Hernandez at OL. Danny dimes CRUSHED expectations as a rookie. This team just needs more help on defense and they’ll be in position to be successful!
Aside from the fumbles Jones had a great rookie season considering the situation he was in. Bright future for him.
We need this DJ back
This may be a premature guess but I wouldn't be surprised if this guy wins 2020 season MVP after Lamar and Mahomes surprised everyone in back to back years.
8:30 his best play
1:10 great movement as well
@@guttygut1 yeah either or the 1:10 showcases mobility footwork arm strength and s few other key qb elements, so i lean towards this as his most impressive, very promising rookie campaign for daniel as a whole
wildbat909 1:10 was the best throw of his rookie year to me. That was Aaron Rodgers like. 8:30 is a close second
@@GiantsFan1734 yeah i have to agree, would have liked to see him connect on one of those deep opportunities to Shepard last game(under threw both) but rookies will be rookies he did a lot of good this year
Great throw with men in his face+great effort by Tate
What few people seem to understand is not that he performed well for a rookie or frankly for a bonafide pro on a bad team, but he came into the league with tremendous pressure. It wasn't just a preseason game it was everything. The balls to go 7 for 7 in that first pre season game!! He's the truth!
And Y’all were mocking the man on draft day say the giants were fools could not want to see it blow up in those doubters faces. Very good rookie season and next year Daniel only gonna get better.
Slayton is so underrated, Im loving this guy’s connection with Danny
Remember Lamar Jackson fumbled a lot his rookie season
Remember Dak Prescott got the MVP offensive rookie award his rookie season
UKNOW for the last time he won ROY not MVP. Matt Ryan won MVP
Can’t wait for Daniel Jones to torch the cowboys so you stfu
UKNOW it was a co award with Zeke
i cant wait to see this new OL with Dan Jones
Stud give him a oline and a good head coach and he’s got top 10 qb potential
3:44 That's a hell of a throw 😳
I want to see this DJ!
He’s gonna be good. Don’t sleep on the giants -bills fan
Thank you so much for getting me into the playoffs and most importantly getting the cowboys out.
would rather have the eagles than the cowboys tbh
if the eagles make it past he first round i will mark my words but this division was historically awful and the injuries lead to so many weak point 4 the eagles lets see :)
Great pocket presence, amazing window throwing, and good reads. He just needs to learn when to throw the ball away. Can be a playoff team with a real number 1 wr and a Def.
I swear if Giants let him go and he goes suddenly dominates for another team
Crazy how its just been downhill from here
Way better than haskins
lol who?
Ibrahim Khan Haskins is with the Redskins bro....
@@killakam5981 yeah daniel jones is much better than haskins thank god we didnt pick him- is English not ur first language?
wildbat909 and you’re not getting that Haskins is with the redskins
@@killakam5981 its weird how people say haskins is struggling because he is with the redskins but fail to acknowledge that Josh rosen was with the Cardinals last year, calling him a bust.
He throws a beautiful spiral
Let us see if he can lead the Giants to the future.
When he senses and trusts that the line is doing their job he will deliver because he’s 6’5 and has that arm strength. Don’t sleep
