The other thing to consider with the SW is it's a 75% built tanking class that doesn't need anything fancy, you're just strapped for weight, & that could mean a meme machine 2.0 with something like filling all the slots with HMGs, or ER SM Lazers, with maybe 2 ATM 9s/12s as the "big gun" using ER anmo?
I like the idea about the UAC/2s, but on another platform like Annihilator Practitioner(which I've seen)that has like 8 & rips Medium tonners to shreds in 1 volley with the ammo to support. What you have on the SW is fine until you find something like ER M(C)Pulses to save on heat, the LG pulses you have now are basically UAC/2s with unlimited ammo, & the heat won't be an issue as long as the SRMs are not firing, just take it out for a test run.
Nice work on both battles. Didn't panic when the Ryoken lost a leg which was good. I don't know if the game will allow you (planning on buying the game for christmas) but is it possible to swap computers in ammo slots? If it is you might have the ability to deal with the inaccuracy problem on the Long Tom. I can't think of a solution for the Savage Wolf that wouldn't eliminate the heat issue or leave it underarmed/underarmored unfortunately. Best advice is to run it as a rear echelon, long range sniper. If you need something for your computer, I don't have much right now but if I can help I would like to. DO NOT think of it as charity or whatever, it's a business transaction. You provide a service and if that service improves so much the better.
I appreciate the offer, but it looks like it was just an out of date driver. Plus it's been awhile since I updated my chipset and drivers for my motherboard so I'll check out what AMD has online and see if it's worth squaring up that end. If it works usually there's no need to do BIOS or board updates, but every now and then it's a good idea. It's also probably about the only thing I dislike about AMD over Intel (aside from the 14th gen of Intel cpu deciding to randomly cook itself).
I'm on the fence as well BUT since we're in the higher weight classes now, there's a much lower risk of mechs being able to sprint out of our splash zones. We'll field it for a bit and see how we like it - obviously once we start mixing it up in short range the allure of artillery dies off quickly since we don't like friendly fire.
So one of the changes made was the removal or restriction of any weapon with recoil from being fitted into the arms of any mech that really doesn't have actual 'arms'. For example, the Black Knight we were running to replace the Meme Machine had the ability to fit the RAC 20 into the arm slot because it had actuators - the Wolf, while having 'arms', doesn't actually have full built arm actuators that would facilitate the installation of weapons with recoil. If we had PPC's with recoil, or were fitting any missile launchers that wound up having recoil, we wouldn't be able to fit them into the arms of the Wolf as well. Technically speaking it does make sense - the only thing that's lacking would be a natural -1 recoil for any weapon system that's installed into the arms of a mech that's built to handle recoil weaponry in their limbs.
@@soulstrumlp9517and yet, tons of them are in the arms in the board games. Both mechs with and without the lower actuators (and even hands) both in Omni and battle mechs.
I think your best bet for the Savage wolf might be a whole mess of clan pulse lasers, large and medium.
1st real fight I've seen the AI put up in ages, would've been the perfect match for the Archers to have handhelds.

An addendum which I'll address in the next video as well - they've made some changes to pulses and increased their cluster chance in 2.2
Soul's cut streak:2
I'd leave out the cuts but let's be honest - nobody wants to hear me hum and talk bs to myself while I maneuver into position lol

IDK why artillery would be any better now for anything outside of base destruction?

Why couldn't you put autocannons in the arms of the Savage wolf? By all means they should be able

@@soulstrumlp9517 Actually the ACs could go in the arms, you had lower omni arms in for extra accuracy on the lasers
