    Come on Micah, cup holders in German cars are always more form than function. Remember the odd pop out tiny little cupholder Audi put in their A6 models in the early 2000s that broke if you even considered putting anything in it?

    I like it, but yes just get the basic trim/motor option. Although I would add a couple of things like the ventilated seats and rear steer.

    Mercs these days are just plain silly - they look ugly, lack anything distinctive and now they have let their greed shine through brilliantly with this subscription thingy lol - what a sad state for a once-great manufacturer! Oh - suspect reliability too!
    You guys on the other hand - are just as great as ever! Thanks for another entertaining vid! 😚

    This is Wagon....I said Wagon.
    There is a lot of tech...so many
    settings that can be changed....on
    purpose and accidentally....even if
    money was not an objection...and it is...
    it seems like a collection of gimmicks 🤔

    How does that have sub trunk space or cargo area? I’ve looked at many of these and none have had that deep space underneath. None.

    There needs to be a standard value comparison for EVs. Something like dividing the advertised range by the MSRP to get the value of the EV part of the vehicle.

    Pay for something that's already in the car after buying the car omg Mb has lost their minds like paying for Ac in your car monthly its just wrong 100000% also the Cadillac lyric is competition for this also which I believe is a lot better priced

    I got a good deal on my 2023 as they couldn’t get any buyers. It’s really comfortable and it has good power when I need it. Charging time is ridiculously slow maybe the 2024 is better. I hate the steering wheel capacitive buttons esp for the volume. There’s also no track skip forward unless you have the drivers screen specifically on the media sub menu. I thought I could get used to having a key again after a Tesla but nope I still feel like I’m going backward in technology. I also hate the finger print reader and start stop button, so unnecessary in an electric car. First world problems I know lol but It’s unlikely I’ll get another one when my lease is over.

    I unleash the extra power via a download, but not from the stupid manufacturer. Mine is a download to my Cobb accessport and it costs a lot less.
    All of these cars that have everything in their giant screens instead of controlled by buttons are going to be filling up junkyards when subsequent post-warranty owners are faced with a $10k or higher bill to replace them. (Especially if those are from companies like Mercedes, BMW, JLR, etc).

  • @dimitargueorguiev9088
    @dimitargueorguiev9088 17 дней назад

    Why it is so expensive? I would consider it if it started from $34K ..

    I find all of the EQ Mercedes vehicles to be horribly styled on the exterior, and too loaded with glossy black plastic inside. Just nothing to find desirable.

  • @JoeMa-hm5ze

    While Tesla rips off their customers the most (by far), MB should get out of this business and give you the max power the car was built with without a subscription or add-on pricing.

    They literally are canceling this abomination

  • @santiagohills3997
    @santiagohills3997 17 дней назад

    Here’s my hypothesis about the horsepower subscription: you get a 100,000 mile battery warranty, and hard driving will increase the chance of a warranty claim. So they derate the car to ensure longevity or pass the cost of additional warranty claims on to the consumer.

    • @39bailey
      @39bailey 17 дней назад +2

      Whats stopping car companies from doing the same with other components? Seems like a horrible idea, extremely anti-consumer.

    • @santiagohills3997
      @santiagohills3997 17 дней назад

      It’s easy to do the math on this. They take their reliability estimates, adjust for the expected additional wear and tear, and price accordingly.
      It would actually be good for the consumer-the lead foot pays more for more damage.
