As someone who lived in Hurricane region most of my life…understand the nervousness. Just make sure you are prepared. If you have AC make the house very cold. Also. Make set the fridge and freezer to the coldest temp. If the power goes out you will be a little ahead. Have all electronics charged and have flashlights for emergency lighting. Most important have bottled water for several days. I gallon per person per day. Usually I have at least 5 days. This will be really important. As an extra thing…collect some water for using as needed. Stay safe.

Lauren, I live in a place where we get a lot of these weird hurricane runoff and my advice is get a few power banks. I've lost power for upwards of 14 day's and that was then one thing I wish I had. The city had charging stations for people, but they were packed and it took forever to charge the things you need. Anywho, sorry for the novel 😊
Oh my gosh I was so excited about the new glosses from Kaleidos until you mentioned the plumping feeling! I looked at the ingredients and it has menthone acetal in it which gives a cooling sensation. I have sensitive lips and I have to avoid products like this. Shoot! I’m so sad now but I’m extremely thankful you mentioned it because I was going to order at least one! You saved me from an allergic reaction, thank you!
Same, now I'm really waffling on my order - I'm super drawn to Freefall and Last Smoke but plumping ingredients are not for me. I had no idea that ingredient was in there, so thank you so much for pointing it out and saving me a whole bunch of irritation/money/disappointment!

Of course, I carefully read ingredients lists but I recently had a horrid experience with a drugstore lip product I carefully perused the list of, and it turned out to inexplicably be a tingling formula with no associated ingredients listed. I dearly hope brands are not on a bandwagon of casually including tingling or plumping factors without advertising it. P.s. I recently subscribed to your channel so it's nice to see you around!
I am SO OVER brands coming out with plumping glosses. My lips are so sensitive to the ingredients used for plumping. I wish brands would release non-plumping versions because the glosses are gorgeous otherwise.
It may be just me but.. I see a lot of differences between the new kaleidos palettes and the previous ones.. It's about the undertones. These new ones are a lot more cooler toned and that really makes a difference. But I understand that people might be disappointed, I just think it makes sense if these quads are their more neutral leaning line that they expand it to include more undertones. I want to see them come out with one for olive skin tones, that would be interesting.
I bit the bullet last week and bought the Isamaya after having a so-so relationship with the first one, but GIRL. This Isamaya palette is so insanely sparkly and exciting and I can’t put it down!!
I went to the USA on holiday recently and I only brought 3 palettes (took soich restraint!). One was your Sea Talk palette because it's so versatile and i was so glad I brought it! Just wanted you to know how much I've been enjoying your collab with Oden's Eye ❤
Taking a clean fluffy concealer brush into the edges and creases around my nose after doing my foundation has been a game changer. It reduces the creasing and collecting SO much.

The new kaleidos collection is definitely cooler & more desaturated. Cool tone peeps who like a pale, barely there blush will love this collection. I was most excited by kackie's collection but I heard it sold out so Idk if I will be able to get it. Been waiting for some good coral-not pink & not orange-blushes for a while.

I can tell how much hard work and passion and energy goes into your videos (and I can’t say that about some other people I watch) so I just wanted to take the time to thank you today. You are truly such a beautiful person, inside and out! Your content is just what I need when I’m just trying to chill and learn about some new makeup. You’re awesome and you look absolutely stunning! Also, I’m kind of confused about the recent shift with Kaleidos, and while I realize they may be trying to target their audience in Asia, I hope they don’t lose the spunk, uniqueness and creativity that cultivated their customer base in the first place and will launch things for everybody. Wish they would have made a more inclusive shade range with those blushes! I’m pale af and am now interested in seeing what those pastel/pale blushes would look like on me, but it’d be nice to see something for everyone else who isn’t as pasty as us. They totally could’ve done expanded that range and kept it within the theming. Someone said on Angi’s video that they could’ve done a soft plum and a fig brown color that would’ve worked for deeper skintones and still complemented the color scheme. I also hope they don’t switch to just launching neutrals and release some colorful quads! I definitely agree about just doing a 15 pan palette instead of the two separate yet similar launches… or just doing color variations, even if it’s on neutrals. I want to see some interesting neutrals because I already have so many, so if it’s not something different I likely won’t buy it. Anyways, have a wonderful day! ❤

I just went thru hurricane ian here in florida last year and it was the worst hurricane we have seen in my 17 years living here and I was terrified but we made it through and everything ended up being ok and that was a cat 5 so I have faith u will be ok! ❤❤❤ I'm sending you good vibes and a huge hug❤
I think it's good to have blushes for fair skin tones to represent both sides of the colour spectrum the Kaleidos blushes are doing that just with two launches I personally am very fair and have a hard time finding makeup because of it I couldn't have used any of the blushes from their first launch so I think this is great and I think that this could be the start of brands opening up shade ranges more to be more inclusive of the fairest skin tones to the deepest.:)
I think someone needs to give Kaleidos the memo that brands can release single products. Like, you can come out with just glosses. No need for shadows and blushes too.
The last kaleidos blush launch was so bright, deep, and vibrant. It was really for much deeper skin tones. Very fair skin ladies that are not beauty youtubers with a lot of experience using a very light hand, or the tools that just lay down a wisp of product were just out of luck. This launch is the opposite end of the spectrum, and that is ok. Between the two launches there is something for everyone.
Multiple shadow looks and palettes will never die for me. Foundation and eyeshadow are my favorite makeup products to try out and do. The eyeshadows help me feel creative or something.

I needed a reason to declutter my XX Vice Reloaded eyeshadow palette that I've had for seven years, and with that Isamaya palette looking like a sparkly version of it, I feel comfortable doing so now. If I ever feel decluttering regret I know a similar-ish palette exists! Thank you for another great video!! 👏✨

That's literally me when it comes to makeup so you nailed it! 😅 I need to know there's a replacement out there before I say goodbye. I've been hearing that the Natasha Denona Yucca palette is similar (not completely but fairly similar) to the ABH subculture palette. I've recently got the Yucca palette and have been really enjoying it. I wear grunge clothes so the earthy colours and little pops of colour work really good on me - it's been right up my alley.
I’ve seen some creators as well as their commenters report getting perioral dermatitis and possibly connecting to the Lawless Forget the Filler gloss. I’m not saying that’s what it is, but something to think about. I stopped using mine and the bumps around my mouth went away. It could just be a correlation, but I still wanted to throw it out there in case anyone has had a similar issue.
For the Pink Marquise shade, I believe the proper French pronunciation is "mar-keez" but in English speaking countries it is sometimes pronounced "mar-kee". It's a title in French nobility (the wife of a marquis) as well cut for gemstones (ellipticals with pointed ends). Thank you for the Kaleidos swatches! I've watched a few videos on them and yours were the most helpful by far!

I don't have any of the Kaleidos quads. I'm definitely a colourful makeup person but I'm actually intrigued by the Venus Trap quad as it looks like the easiest thing to throw on (the mattes) so could be great for travel with my Cliodnah multichromes
Love the new Kaleidos collection, especially the eyeshadows & lippies. That Chantecaille bronzer is my new favorite bronzer, it’s so smooth to blend and love the finish!!
I actually really want the keliedos quads they are super pretty up my alley but I kinda wish they made one of the nude blushes alittle more pigmented for med tan and dark skin tones , I really like the colors but idk if they will show up on me .
On a low buy and trying to only buy 1 new/extra/“want” item per month (not something I need to repurchase/ran out of/“need”) so I don’t know if watching makeup news videos will be helpful or not 😂 It’s new as of this month. A Kackie blush is going to be my August purchase for sure though! Definitely interested in trying the Tower28 concealer and mascara one day. The light reflecting aspect of the concealer is so intriguing! Would not pay the $$$ for the eyeshadow palette but your look with it was stunning and so sparkly ❤️❤️❤️
Ughhhh, cakey dry foundation/concealer around the nostrils is the worst!! I've finally had some reprieve from that recently, but only because I now slather Glossier Futuredew on my face about 10 mins before applying my base, lol. IDK if that would be too oily for you! But it's a game changer for me. I really dig that extra oomph of skin prep & how it doesn't interfere w/ product the way a regular skin oil would.
You got me into Kaleidos beauty, and we felt similar to the newest collection As I was looking for new glosses, I did purchase this with they latest lip clay sets I didn’t have already (I LOVE their lip clays, and own all of them. My holy grail honestly) As an south east wasian person, I was kind of disappointed that the blush colours wouldn’t suit me.. I can’t imagine people of darker complextion feelings :(
You and I are the same shade in foundation, the N106 is just right for me. I love the reformulation, it sits really well on my skin. And I’m quite a bit older; my skin is about early 40’s age.

The same exact thing happens to me with foundation! I use the first aid beauty exfoliating pads aroud my nose before doing my makeup and it works wonders, no settling even with not-so-good formulas

I have seen a couple creators compare the kaleidoscollections an this is what i hear. Here we have canned greens beans, these are cut green beans and these are french style cut green beans. Why is this happening Kaleidos?!?!? 😭 This collection wasnt needed at all. Even the blushes make me cry.
As someone who bought the Cold Brew, I’m kinda put out about the new quads. I’d have preferred that Venus Trap quad with the piece-y reflective shade but buying both would feel redundant? Not exactly but sort of unnecessarily wasteful. I would never have imagined that their next release would have been thematically the same or I’d have waited. 😒

I thought the same thing about the new Kaleidos collection! I saw someone do a video on it, and I was so confused for a minute. I was like, “Oh. I guess they just released blushes to go with the last eyeshadow collection?” Then I saw the eyeshadow packaging and realized it was different. But I literally thought they were the same damn quads.
I’m disappointed with the Kaleidos collection too. I’m interested in the glosses but will wait. I really hope they have another eyeshadow release that’s more colorful soon.
i dont want to say anything about the similarities because pat mcgrath releases same shades over and over again and people eat it up edit: and as an owner of few of the mothership and smaller palettes no i dont think the specials shades make up for it

I don't have any of the Kaleidos quads. I'm definitely a colourful makeup person but I'm actually intrigued by the Venus Trap quad as it looks like the easiest thing to throw on (the mattes) so could be great for travel with my Cliodnah multichromes

I actually really want the keliedos quads they are super pretty up my alley but I kinda wish they made one of the nude blushes alittle more pigmented for med tan and dark skin tones , I really like the colors but idk if they will show up on me .

On a low buy and trying to only buy 1 new/extra/“want” item per month (not something I need to repurchase/ran out of/“need”) so I don’t know if watching makeup news videos will be helpful or not 😂 It’s new as of this month. A Kackie blush is going to be my August purchase for sure though! Definitely interested in trying the Tower28 concealer and mascara one day. The light reflecting aspect of the concealer is so intriguing! Would not pay the $$$ for the eyeshadow palette but your look with it was stunning and so sparkly ❤️❤️❤️
Ughhhh, cakey dry foundation/concealer around the nostrils is the worst!! I've finally had some reprieve from that recently, but only because I now slather Glossier Futuredew on my face about 10 mins before applying my base, lol. IDK if that would be too oily for you! But it's a game changer for me. I really dig that extra oomph of skin prep & how it doesn't interfere w/ product the way a regular skin oil would.

As I was looking for new glosses, I did purchase this with they latest lip clay sets I didn’t have already (I LOVE their lip clays, and own all of them. My holy grail honestly)
As an south east wasian person, I was kind of disappointed that the blush colours wouldn’t suit me.. I can’t imagine people of darker complextion feelings :(
You and I are the same shade in foundation, the N106 is just right for me. I love the reformulation, it sits really well on my skin. And I’m quite a bit older; my skin is about early 40’s age.

The same exact thing happens to me with foundation! I use the first aid beauty exfoliating pads aroud my nose before doing my makeup and it works wonders, no settling even with not-so-good formulas

I have seen a couple creators compare the kaleidoscollections an this is what i hear. Here we have canned greens beans, these are cut green beans and these are french style cut green beans. Why is this happening Kaleidos?!?!? 😭 This collection wasnt needed at all. Even the blushes make me cry.

I love the foundation you're using. I have dry skin, but I tend to prefer foundations that are a more natural/matte finish with medium coverage.
As someone who bought the Cold Brew, I’m kinda put out about the new quads. I’d have preferred that Venus Trap quad with the piece-y reflective shade but buying both would feel redundant? Not exactly but sort of unnecessarily wasteful. I would never have imagined that their next release would have been thematically the same or I’d have waited. 😒

I’ve been telling myself that the Isamaya palette has too much shimmer, too many cool tones, too much blue and it’s going to emphasize my eye texture too much. It’s kind of working 😂 This looks beautiful on you BTW

I thought the same thing about the new Kaleidos collection! I saw someone do a video on it, and I was so confused for a minute. I was like, “Oh. I guess they just released blushes to go with the last eyeshadow collection?” Then I saw the eyeshadow packaging and realized it was different. But I literally thought they were the same damn quads.
