Ahèhèe! Nizhoníi sister!!! Such a peaceful and relaxing voice! You could hear the wisdom! I love how she explained her journey and experience on both Navajo and English.
Ahe' hee for watching Rita's video and appreciating her story she shared with us. The way I found her was interesting and I might have to do a YT shorts vlog of how I come across relatives throughout the Navajo Nation. Much appreciated, ahe' hee
Rita translates into English what she says in Navajo after most segments. We also summarize what she says on screen👍
Sister Rita, Blessings of love and light ❤️
🤙🏾
Nizhoni shi sister. She spoke with a lot wisdom and respect for her Medicine. Absolutely loved the scenery, beautiful skies, hogan, puppies,
Aoh' agreed. It was a very peaceful place, I hope they received funding for their highway road conditions.
NIZHONI NIZHONI another good content about how she was raised and she learned the traditional way of life, blessing her clients with prayers the Navajo way…awesome
Aoh' it was a great experience meeting her & being apart of her protection prayer 🤙🏾
Ya'at'eeh, Mitakuye Oyasin. ❤️ Thank you for sharing this important wisdom.
Ahe' hee for watching Rita's episode & glad you enjoyed it! 🤙🏾
Nice, enjoyed listening to you. Thank you!!

This was such a good video thank u for sharing its nice to meet her ❤😊
Ahe' hee for watching Rita's video. It was a very peaceful experience in Ojo Encino. 🤙🏾
I watch some videos and find some interesting and just seem made up when they talk about Traditional Way. I’m a Navajo myself and as a child I was surrounded by parents, grandparents and relatives that did practice the Navajo Ways. I was taught to pray for myself and my faith was personal I didn’t need to pay anyone to Pray or a Blessing for me.
Understood. We appreciate your thoughts on our videos and developing a discussion out of it. What area of Navajo Nation are you based out of?
@@Spagoshi I’m currently and have in Minnesota most of my life I did try to live in Kayenta lasted about 10 months then moved to Phoenix and lived there for 10 years. Minnesota is my home love all the Four Seasons although now that I’m older I seem to struggle with the cold weather.
@@amyyazzie249 Oh ok, gets pretty cold up there. Haven't been there yet but the GC I work for, we have an office out there in St. Cloud. Hope you have a great weekend and stay warm. Temps definitely dipped today.
@@Spagoshi Thank You 🙏
I’m not far from St Cloud. You have an Awesome weekend too. Keep up the good work you’re doing.
❤Thank you for sharing your wisdom ❤I love all my❤ brothers,❤and sisters
Nizhoniful I much wisdom n respect
❤good story
Ahe' hee for watching Rita's video!
The earth has always given us what we need. We need to teach our young people about the healing powers of the plants. I make and use natural medicines and I am teaching my grandchildren. We can't trust modern medicine or doctors anymore.
Agreed, natural medicine is the way to go along with natural way of growing food. We've been teaching our little ones to survive off the land as well. Hope your journey continues to new heights
Thank you
🤙🏾
I like to learn native American Indian medicine plants and healing too and learn language too
That's great to hear. Which tribe are you from?
My tribe is Pit River Tribal indians in California
@@user-lb3gg6wg9f Nizhoni, we hope to get out there some time soon. What area of California?
Good 1 from ponoka alberta canada 2024
Glad you enjoyed the video!
O.E. Beautiful looking day there. Mom and stepdad use to live out there not too long ago. Loved the drives out that way from ABQ, pretty country. Not anymore, all urbanized nowadays.
Yes it is a beautiful area. What part is urbanized? The neighborhood by the school?
@@Spagoshi nope. I just meant the whole Family are all urbanized now, (siblings grew up off the Rez) living off the reservation. 👍🏽
@@chacod.hastiin3775 Copy that, I think we can all relate to that in some way due to the what the world wants to be "successful". From the community members I've met, there is still a way to find a balance.
🥰
How do get ahold of Rita Tsosie
Email us with your contact info and we can forward to Rita. Ahe' hee for watching her episode 🤙🏾

@@Spagoshi Prayers for the Imprisoned Natives which made bad choices that Navajo Medicine Women visits at the prison.
@@Ricart0713 Agreed. Her spiritual healing is much needed for them.
My grandmother spoke Indian, Spanish and English, I wish I had listened. I would know what the woman is saying.
She does translate parts of it into english. It's a longer dialogue to explain in Dine' then english. A simple example: Library = naaltsoos bá hooghan (house of books / school house of books) I know other Dine' translate differently but that's the summary of how tough it came be to describe something in Dine'. Hope that helps. We have a podcast coming out and only focusing on audio may help pick up on words. Have a great day, Ahe' hee
For those who don’t know the language, we need more translation!
Understood and we're still working on getting those up. They are coming and you are not forgotten. Ahe' hee for checking out Rita's video 🤙🏾
Peyote is for al Great Spirit People Gift from Creator
🤙🏾
How can I get a hold of this woman?
Shoot us an email info@spagoshi.com or message us via social media. We'll pass the word to Rita. Ahe'hee
Bottom Line, Pray for yourself and believe be faithful and to the Higher Power. Peyote is not Traditionally for the Navajos. That’s from the Native American from Tribes. Be Real Be Navajo
From the Medicine People I've met, it's very simple to pray before the sunrises. Pray for positivity, health, those you love / those who need help / people who aren't the kindest but pray for their healing and be a good person in this world. As for the peyote part, our family didn't grow up with the peyote way either. I respect those who use it but it's not for me. Ahe' hee for your insight and checking out the video 🤙🏾
Im sorry, but have grandma put her bucket down, get her a nice chair and conduct the conversation. My grandparents lived in Ojo Encino. Just saying make it more nice for her. Background is beautiful.
Even a camp chair is ok.
What you don't see off camera is her next client waiting to see her in their vehicle, so we slowly made our way to them.
We did have a conversation inside the hooghan while we all sat for a while. I understand your concerns, but she wasn't ready to sit, since she was on the go type of woman. We appreciate you checking out our videos. What area of Ojo are your family from?
Is this witch craft ? My husband Navajo and told me back in Cuba NM where he is from in the reservation u see alot of witchcraft.
No
What Rita is speaking about isn't witchcraft. But there are some who practice the dark side of spirituality and those are the people we do not interact with. It's it all religions and spirituality.
Lol
@@Spagoshi okay thank you for explaining this to me.
🫤 i wonder why this interviews so short????
