Lol but y’all gotta. Realize it’s not him giving up money. The contract he signed is LIFE CHANGING moneyz the option is basically get money NOW and change ur families life or wait one whole year and a lot has to go right and then you’ll get potentially a bigger offer
People keep forgetting this point you made. Like what if he decided not to sign the extension and waits the year but ends up suffering a career ending injury this year. Then he gets no extension and will still be on his first contract he got with us. People love to talk about how much he could make but staying healthy isn't guaranteed.
This is clearly untrue that Brunson gave up $113M...in order for him to be eligible for that $$, he needs to make ALL NBA Team again next year which is unlikely since arrival of Bridges will take shots away from him, also Randle is expected to play full season....just dumb assessment...#blockthisshowASAP#
