Thanks for the video! I have a 320ix 2018 with vibration mostly noticeble between 80-110km? Any specific ideas? I've changed all bearings, discs and rotors, one cv axle and front tension struts already.
@@FilipeDRM thanks for your answer. I thought about it but doesn't show other signs of transmission failure (shocks when turning full at very low speed or from start-stop and and not shocks in any gears) it's a 5k repair with no Guarantee that it will solve the problem.. any other ideas?
@@TheYellowdmy car has a similar problem, the steering wheels shakes when i go over 80 km/h, i feel the entire car shaking a bit, my mechanic told me that he is 99% sure that is transmission problems, something with the calibration of the transmission, sonner or later i will give him a call to fix the problem
2008 BMW 328i Sedan: Vibration when braking at high speeds. Brakes and rotors were replaced by a Certified BMW mechanic 4000 miles ago. The vibration started after they replaced the brakes, I took it back to him he said it might be control arm bushing. Will you send me a link to a informational trouble shooting video for “Vibration at high speeds” causes, repairs or anything that might help me solve this problem. TIA, Barrett
Can you tell me which side is more likely to be faulty? Vibrations lower some when you turn slightly or radically left but when you turn right it gets worse. I’ve replaced tires wheels bearings and even front driveshaft and none of this helped significantly. A mechanic grabbed / flexes the rear driveshaft and Guibo stuff and said that they’re tight. It’s from 50mph and higher.
I replaced every single part you had shown on here and yet as soon as I reach 70-75 mph I begin getting vibrations. Doesnt matter if I am accelerating or letting off the gas. I even put the car in neutral and the vibrations are still there. Brand new wheel with brand new tires. Alignment and balancing done. Still get that vibration.
I have vibration on braking on my 2008 BMW 535ix. I also have knocking noise from the front suspension. Are these related and did one one possibly cause the other?
BMW E60, shudder with RPM fluctuations over 90k/h, especially when engaged cruise control. Sudden increase of RPM eliminate this issue for short while then again start shuddering. Please advise….
Help please… i have a bmw 2016 528i some how i have smoke coming on my engine bay…. I found a leak in the passenger side right up on the exhaust manifold… what could be the problem??
What color is the smoke, A. and B, are you noticing any puddles on the ground when you leave a space? If so, check out your waterpump or thermostat, i'm not too well versed in N20 engines, but i assume those 2 things may be in a similar location to an N55.
I have e92 and 82 model both car vibration, change disc and pads, all suspension, nothing changes still vibrate , I have two option left ( whell bearing or top strut mount)

Mine is doing the same. Thought it was from runflats or wheel balancing wasn’t done right but I still can’t figure it out.

Driver side I’m assuming my 2008 535i is having a loud noise on the driver side front wheel

I have an 06 325 perfectly fine from0-100kmh vibration from 100kmh-120kmh than smooths out after 120kmh any idea??

valve cover gasket...tighten screws and get some oil additive stop leak,, will help--thats what i did fixed !

Honest question: how fast is „high speed“ in this case?
Regular highway speed would be 130km/h (80mph), fast could be 180 km/h (112mph) and above.
Basically if you notice it at 50mph(80km/h) then you should definitely look into it
