Bought this today and it's my favorite Switch racer, bar none. Beautiful. Sounds fantastic. Those controls are GODLY, especially with how HD rumble is implemented. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended to anyone who ever enjoyed Daytona, Horizon Chase, Outrun... Sheesh! An Outrun mode would be worth my money.

Pre-ordered last week. When I saw the devs in an interview say they wanted a low-poly look, but based the gameplay on Burnout 3 and Split Second, it was all I needed to hear. If they added in the explosive parts of Split Second and some similar modes from Burnout (at least Road Rage), this could be my game of the year. Maybe in future DLC.
@@catwoe5707 Rubber banding can be irritating, but I can't count how many times Mario Kart has cheated me at the end of a race and I still play it... a lot. I think this will be WAY more fun than Horizon Chase Turbo.
i recently bought Grip and Burnout for the switch. i'm not even a big racing fan. this looked a bit like virtua racer to me and i loved the look and the price was ok too. so far i really like it. weird seeing a Hulk Hogan lookalike, but has a russian accent? the cars do have a weighty feel. like older muscle cars. like my '69 chevy chevelle i got for HS graduation. (not in 69. ahole. '84. beata-box but it was my 1st.) they tend to feel and control a bit like their real world counterpart. nice game. nice price. nice channel. (kissy, kissy, smooch, smooch.) 🤪
This game has nothing in common with Horizon Chase Turbo, it's a different beast altogether, HCT acts like a pseudo 3D racer, while hot shot racing is a full 3D racer with flat-shaded polygons.
Graphics reminds me a lot of Virtua Fighter for some reason...so thats a def. + :) Also...seen the shadow drop of Nintendo with Hyrule Warriors?Gives me hope Nintendo still have aces in thier sleeves for this year.
Thank God this game is decent. I've been so disappointed lately with releases but this is one I've been praying turns out good. plus I love the virtua racing look. Ace stuff.
Hot Shot Racing came out physical a few days ago, so if there were any issues with the game when it initially released digitally, I hope were fixed upon physical releases.
Hey I’m actually gonna try a little news video on hyrule warriors I think, I’m looking forward to it, it’s no BOTW 2 honestly but I’ll take it! How cute looking is that Series S I love the design honestly, and the price point is pretty solid, no 4K but how many people truly need that.
I really hated horizon chase, it was too boring. The last racing game I truly enjoyed was burnout 3 and burnout legends, there hasn't been a racing game as good as that ever since.
i grew up playing LOTUS on IBM PC and Horizon chase was trying to mimic it (and top gear) but i found it to miss it's mark...on the other hand, this game is trying to mimic games like DAYTONA , VIRTUA RACING and CRUISIN USA (there is one care that look exactly like one of the cars in it) and it pulls it off to an insane degree, with the artstyle, the music and the gameplay, so this game is a lot and i mean a lot better than Horizon chase...by a 100 miles.
I wish theses "arcade racers" would make the drift aspect an option. That shit is getting fucking old. Remember when need for speed was the arcade racer to play, and it wasn't shit drift physics and explosions. Fucking kids and burnout ruined arcade racers.
Had an absolute blast smashing this game online with you 😂 highly recommend people picking this one up.

We got the hang of playing racers in Split Screen, 4-players whenever we can and this one does looks surprisingly cool.

That's about as good as a combo gets honestly! Yeah I forsee DLC in the future for this one!

This game looks beautiful ... Maybe there will be extra DLC in the future for single player.

Single-player is 60, however split-screen is not. That's what the wording meant.

Horizon Chase is just Rad Racer with laps that is the reason why I liked it. As for this game I feel like its more OutRun With laps.
