Looks like we've found out why the Doblo was blowing out so much smoke ... the turbo is wrecked! I'll see if i can find a reasonably priced repairer or i'll replace the cassette myself.
I've just cleaned the oily carbon out of one of these, thanks to this video I knew what to expect when I got to the intake manifold, thanks for sharing .... Regards Andy
you still got a doblo mate ,i have an 02 1.9 jtd ,i love it ,having to do the odd bit of welding to keep it roadworthy but shes worth it ,after seeing that loose turbo shaft think im gonna check mine ,cheers
Had to sell it a couple of years ago, engine was beyond economic repair and chassis was continuing to rust on the inside. Good car whilst we had it. Did well for us for over 150,000 miles. Hope all works out well for you, all the best 🙂👍
