Is the hood really like for the uniqlo parka it looks really weird and square and is the hood drawstringed? As I heard the hood flies off when it gets windy

@@tr1912 the new one is trash trust me i tried it on the hood is ugly af plus no drawstring and the hood is wide so all the rain comes in

Definitely recommend the ultra warm down Parka. It's the warmest outerwear uniqlo offers!

Similar but not exactly the same. The Beige is definitely warmer better suited for colder weather and the 2nd last one is a little less warm

@@uptwnsb I suggest a small or medium. I'm wearing an extra small. Give it a try in store to see which you prefer!
Is the second model windproof? I have the first jacket. It has no protection against wind unless you have a hard-shell like a rain jacket on it. Also, it will not perform well under 5 degrees in Celsius without a good layering. A proper down jacket should be warm while standing still.
Yeah the second one is windproof! The outer shell feels more rigid that the 1st jacket and a little more weight. I highly recommend you getting it!

Is the last "Ultra Warm Hybrid Down Coat" good for temperatures between -7 and -18 ?
You're welcome! 🙏 Yes the last coat I've worn at -20 Celsius weather. I suggest trying it in store or buying 2 sizes online to make sure you can still layer underneath.

Digging #4 u.s based says that it is available this year do you know if they changed anything compred to the one you have. And when you say keeps you warm in -20. How many and what type of layers were you wearing underneath?
I think there are slight changes but I haven't checked out the new one yet. It keeps me warm -20 degrees with what I'm wearing in the video a tshirt and a denim shirt. I would also recommend a beanie, gloves a scarf to stay extra toasty

@@cv6473 yeah no need to bundle up too much. Just a regular supima uniqlo t shirt and a long sleeve denim shirt on top. Stay warm out there!

Really love this video. It was exactly what I was looking for when I came searching on RUclips. I’m definitely getting the first two jackets that you reviewed (the last two are a bit too warm for where I live). Do you have any advice for whether to get the first jacket with or without a hood? Thanks in advance!
Actually I recommend both with the hood and without. The one I have is great if you don’t wear too many hoodies but the non-hooded one is great if you want to layer hoodies underneath. You can’t go wrong with either!

whats your height? I got the ultra warm hybrid down coat, online so i wasnt able to try other sizes, and in anticipation of it being too big i got an XS and its still kind of too long for my preference, i wonder if i should have gone xxs like you did

Ah a fellow Canadian! I live in Toronto and I would say it could go to -30 degrees but you have to wear a beanie, gloves and a scarf to really be warm. Some heattech and boots for your legs wouldn't hurt either.
@@lifewithraph8836 Haha yes! I lived in Toronto for a few months during the winter last year and I had the Seamless Down Parka and it felt absolutely great. I just wasn't sure if this is the best pick for a city like Saskatoon though, pretty confused about selecting between Seamless Down Parka and Ultra Warm Down Coat. (definitely including the heattech, gloves and beanie regardless of the jacket lol)

You're taller than me (5'4) so I would go for a small for you. I'm not sure if there would be size difference depending on the country but be sure to check the return policy just in case too!

Hey so the coat labeled “ultra warm down coat” with the fur hood on their site, is this the same one you own as well? I’m about the same height and size as you and I had ordered an xs but then just called to have it cancelled seeing that you ordered an xxs. Does it fit pretty slim? (If it’s the same one you have) I just didn’t want to flood in my jacket and from the reviews on the one on the one I had mentioned people are complaining of the size
Hey! So if you're about the same size as me, I suggest going for XXS. It lets me still wear bulky clothes underneath for layering but if you want an even looser feel go for XS
Thanks for reply, funny cuz i just got them both in the mail today, an xxs and an xs. But I think the style of mine is different than yours . Mine isn’t a hybrid it’s more of the thicker version I think but not too thick. Anyways I tried the xxs and tried moving my arms around and stretching and it felt a little tight on the back and armpit area. So I’m thinking I’ll just keep the xs. Uniqlo is so weird on sizing sometimes

I'd say throw it in the wash and let it air dry for a few hours. But always check the label for washing instructions!

They're called Blundstone. I suggest trying them on in store as they run Australian sizes.
Are any of those waterproof?
I'd say none of them are really waterproof, more water resistant since they're geared for more snow not rain. However I do a uniqlo raincoat that is fully waterproof!

The first one is definitely the thinnest jacket of the 4 so if you live in a place that gets a true winter then I would recommend any of the other 3

@@thomsonhsu1735 No worries! The second one is still good for -10 weather, definitely warmer than the first, any colder than that just wear a scarf and some gloves with the jacket.

The second jacket is called Seamless Down Parka. I found a similar one here www.uniqlo.com/ca/en/products/E429291-000?colorCode=COL67 I recommend waiting for a sale as Uniqlo has them fairly often

Yes they are! They're the black color jeans in Uniqlo size 28 waist. You can get it hemmed there too!

Hi Philip! Yes they are! I live in Canada where it can go as low -20 Degrees. I'd say the last 3 jackets are good for those temperatures
