I've seen very masculine men wearing tote bags of all kinds (fabric, leather, designer, etc.. ) and they look good. Your masculinity is not dictated by the bag you carry (that idea is beyond stupid). Get over it already. I actually know a mixed martial artist guy who can break you in half but enjoys wearing tote bags and walking his groomed cute poodle with bows in her hair. I find this so endearing and supersexy. I dare anyone to call him "feminine".

I rarely see it used by westerners. but tote bag is quite prevalent in my area, carried by both men and women. when I was in university, people carrying tote bag would be deemed as an art person because they're always seen carrying a drawing board on them in a tote bag. It set a trend that became popular for students that studied in other faculties also. I also got some hate from my very masculine friends but It did't mind as it's very functional for me.
