Into the Fire- Interviews- Black Irish Band

The making of the music video-"Into the Fire" by the Black Irish Band in early summer of 2005. Filmed on location on the Stanilaus National Forest, in an area that had burnt the summer before. Over forty United States Forest Service Wildland Firefighters were used in making the music video in honor of men & women that serve as forest firefighters.
This original song was written by Black Irish Band member, Patrick Michael Karnahan. Patrick had worked as a wildland firefighter for twenty-two fire seasons with the United States Forest Service, on eight National Forests in the Western United States.
This original song by the Black Irish band can be found on their album, "Wildland Firefighting Songs. The original vocal was sung by (County Western Singer)-Michael Martin Murphey of "Wild- Fire" fame.
