Thanks for watching :) When you load pre-op scan, then exocad library can be adapted to the scan. While in waxup mode, restorations are generated directly from imported scan.
thank you so much for your content!! I am having a hard time to adapt to pre-op scan of a single tooth wax up. I want it to adapt to the vestibular and palatal areas only, and I did use the brush feature to exclude the oclusal area, but my wax up ends up completely distorted at the end, so its like this: wax-up of 26, tooth wax up placed and adapted in position, looks nice but does not follow the pre op scan, adapt to pre op model using the brush feature to exlude the occlusal, the wax up looks all distorted in the oclusal area, unusable. could you please give me a hint??
Hi Walter. Thanks for watching Wixur! In these cases, the problem is usually with bottom of the crown that is not properly made. So, it will result to a distorted restoration. If you are having problem only with this case, a rescan would be also a solution. If that did not work, send us an screenshot to info@wixur.com. We can take a look ;)
Love your content brother!
Thanks for watching my friend 🙂
Stay tuned!
Do you always use pre-op for implants?
Not always. But sometimes for implants or even prepped teeth 😉
Can you explian more thnan this
Pre operative in side mouth before preparation or pre final scaninig
Hi Dr. Bestoon. In this case we scanned a waxup and uploaded in exocad to do the design.
What is the difference between pre-op and wax-up?
Thanks for watching :)

@@wixur Thank you!
Doesn't it give the same result at the end?
Thank you @@wixur
And how do you align meshes?
Hi. In "Add/Remove Mesh" window click on "Align Meshes". You are good to go 👍
@@wixur Perfect!
