Thank You So much not only for this video, but for all the videos you post on your channel. It's really the juice of exocad. I wonder if you can make a whole video sequence on starting a new case from smile design, wax up, then creating the provisional shells with a palatal jig and the preps model. A lesson for exocad dummies like me :) that would be great !
Load wax up as preOp, during the wizard workflow Exocad will automatically walk you through the preOp copy process. Make sure your initial design setup is close enough to the preOp to avoid overlapping errors when Exocad copies the waxup.
@@masterdentaltechnician1914 thanks for your answer, I am aware of the adapt feature but even when I am pretty close to the wax up, I am not very satisfied of the "past" outcome. do you have any other tips?
Thank you so much with this. Can you help me figure out how to replace a scan die with a new scan die on a already finish project? For example #7 to #10 singles and I need to rescan #8 bec. the margin was wrong in the first scan. Thank you again.
Great idea and excellent video. My question is how a user can modify his preparations based on this technique according to its preferred material ? Because certainly we cant apply on type of preparation to all materials. Thank you
Great Comment and you are absolutely correct! I was thinking the same since those are all crown preps. I am working on a veneers video. Give me some time. If you like to see something else, let me know here.
i really like the video I'm new with exocad so now im learning i really like the way you describe the whole process thank you.. i really hope for your more videos if you dont mind i really like to learn about implant scanning and designing ..thank you
Thank you for the comment. I really like your idea about the implants. Did you look at my other videos about all on 4 or Crystal Ultra? Those are implant related.
Im also working with exocad creating models, but for some reason the holes are not made in the model to insert each die, instead the dies are created but not the holes to insert them. What could be wrong within my process?
I would get Exocad. You can do much more with it. 3Shape is a great software but there are too many workarounds if you really want to go into complex cases.

Thank you for the feedback. I will look into that and prepare something.
hello master dental technician, always love your videos, how do you reproduce a wax-up from a dsd to the definitive restaurations?

Expert mode->add/remove scan->add extra jaw scan->jaw relation alignment-choose replace scan data ->redraw the margins
Very nice, thank you and looking forward to learn more from you.
Thank you for the comment. I really appreciate your feedback.
What machine would I need to mill it out in wax at the end?
A 5-axis mill
Great stuff, look forward to learning from one of the best
More to come!
This is fantastic! But my "show triangle orientation" is marked red on the outside of the prep?!?!? Can't figure out where I went wrong....
Invert it. Watch Top 5 Exocad tricks because it's too difficult to explain in the comments.
you are the number one

You probably selected extra die instead of removable die
Great video
Thank you Fady Issa. I appreciate the comment
