@InfinityOnStump I remember reading that the devs were super inspired by Evil Dead when making RE7! I would love to see Raimi do an RE movie that would be insane.
Personally, I like his real actor's face better. Fits with the everyman appearance. Though, I guess this would fit for 1980 horror shows since they weren't all for average looking protagonists. Or maybe I'm just being ignorant.

God this is so tragic and disappointing. The fact that movie studios and capcom can’t put together a movie that is 100% faithful to what came before is sad. I hope they see all the work you’ve done and hopefully they’ll understand that making a Resident Evil movie that is faithful to the games can be so easily executed. Well done seriously 👏🏻
"easily executed", you say that after watching a video on RUclips that was made by an AI, films take a lot, years of pre-production, unlike this video. Don't get me wrong a faithful adaptation can certainly be done, but it sure ain't easy to execute.
@@Gabagu clearly you haven’t seen HBO’s The last of us series if you wanna say what you just said. Have you seen any of the resident evil movies or shows that have come our the last few years? My guess is no because honestly what you’re saying sounds like a lazy and bold attempt to defend those horrible adaptations . I have an aunt who works in the movie industry and pre production ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT take years to do lol. It’s a simple formula to making a faithful adaptation especially when there’s already a blueprint laid out for you. Mussle up decent and competent actors to play the part, and EXECUTE. That simple
@@Gabagu it can be easily executed especially when there’s already a game acting as a blueprint for a script. You misunderstood, the labor making a film like this would be hard yes. Actors putting on makeup, getting dressed and working in various weather conditions all day is certainly hard. But a script? which would basically be drawn from the game itself, and assembling actors to fill the role? Easy.
@@Nightprowler23 Funnily enough, I wasn’t too keen on the last of us show’s direction, as I thought it would be pointless with the game being right there and open to being played. But, after finally giving it a brief check, especially after episode 3, I’ve really liked that the show made its own spin that didn’t stray away too much from the game. The way they remade Bill’s story was amazing and I’m definitely hoping to see how they tackled the rest of the season and how amazingly they can use Part 2’s great story beats and characters as well. (I’m in the minority that really liked part 2 lol).
@@Nightprowler23 It's not that simple, and as i said, it can be done faithfully but it isn't the simple process you think it is, a script has to be written, a good one, with a story arc and character progress, which is something the original story doesn't have because the writing in that game was paper thin, then with a good script, the executives have to approve, then they can start working on the logistics of things, casting, production design, costume design, the whole thing, then filming, then post-production, the montage and the color grading and all that, so it ain't easy. The Last of Us is an exception because the source material is much richer and cinematic than any of the original Resident Evil stories, no wonder HBO picked that up, it's objectively ahead in terms of character progress and telling a nuanced story, for a Resident Evil adaptation they would have to improve a lot of aspects that are faulty if not entirely missing in the games, I've seen The Last of Us, I've played and seen Resident Evil since i was about 7 years old, I've seen a good bunch of how the behind the scenes process works on a film, it is not "easily executed", you're just being willfully ignorant mate.
Resident Evil 7 (1994) directed by Clive Baker and produced by Sam Raimi. After the Resident Evil 6's box office failure, George A. Romero quit the franchise blaming the studio for a rushed production and a toxic work environment. In 1991, the franchise was brought by an new studio who announced an sequel that would returned to its horror roots seen in 1-4, pre production begin in 1992 despite not having a director yet. Romero was offered to return but declined due to not wanting to have nothing to with the franchise after 6’s bad production, Sam Raimi was offered to direct but declined as well. Eventually, Hellraiser director Clive Baker accepted the offer after reading the draft and was given permission to rewrite it. Raimi eventually returned as producer after a conversation with Baker. Filming took place from Late September 1993 to February 1994 for a release Early May 1994 release.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was released in theaters in 1999 and was considered a return to form after 1995’s RE6. Critics praised it for its return to horror roots, and cast of colorful characters (biggest standout being Jack Baker). A sequel tentatively titled RE: Village is set to enter production in 2001 for an early 2003 release (there’s also rumors of remaking the first Resident Evil floating around, but nothing’s confirmed)

Why do we need remakes of not bad cartoons?
of all of the 90s Resident Evil AI Generated this is my all favorite. It really captures the vibe of RE7
Jack could easily be played by Nicolas Cage
Jack Nicholson
Jeff Daniels
The style of this one looks more early-mid 90's "Made-for-TV movie on that channel you'd always watch on a Saturday night" vibe
And those Molded are even more terrifying than the originals. They remind me of the Regenerators from RE4.
Great job with the A.I . Transformation most of the characters are spot on especially Lucas.
The molded look so much creepier than in the actual game

The Molded design as, ahem, “molded” by AI is vastly superior to the pedestrian design we got in the actual game. Crazy.
Well, it suits the 1980s but the video game looks do satisfy sci-fi horror themes of the game.
