That’s an exciting goal! If you play this piece slowly it’s more like a mid-intermediate piece, so I think you’ll be able to learn it, you’ll just have to make sure you learn good solid technique to be able to build up the speed without injuring yourself. You can do it!! I’m so glad you’re loving the courses, that’s so great to hear! Sending lots of love, keep up the great work!!

I did Mahogany Moon, Greensleeves, Behind the Flames and Sound of Silence (mid-beginner version) from your sheet music, so with my credits I am going to take May It Be and either Scarborough Fair or Morning Has Broken.

That’s so cool 😎. I am currently renting a Fullsicle harp and a total noob that got the beginner version of Danny Boy down within the first month of teaching myself 😁. I was wondering if you could see if their is a way you can arrange and put together sheet of music for me? I really have been wanting to learn how to play the song “Pneuma” from one of my favorite bands, TOOL. It is from their album Fear Inoculum. Also with that, can you also play a piece of it as well? I appreciate it 😊

Hey Barrios, that’s so sweet ❤️ Usually it takes 4 years or more, but some people get there in a year or less. It depends on how consistently you’re practicing, your musical background, and natural talent. I’ve definitely noticed that those who learn from our courses get there faster because they build a solid technique which allows them to progress quickly!

Hi Pei! Good to hear from you ❤️ I don’t do one-to-one Skype lessons at the moment, I’m focussing all my time on making a new video course every month. They are very detailed and people have been loving learning from them so I keep producing more 😃
Hi Christy. Thanks for this beautiful piece. There’s a question I have for a relatively long time and that’s the sound recording setup you use to record your pieces. I use my iPhone for that and sounds are harsh and not like the way the sound in real life. Can you guide me what is the best way of recording our harp pieces? Thanks you :)
Hi there! If you would like to improve your iPhone recording you can buy a good mic that plugs into your phone. I haven’t researched the best options for that because that’s not the way I record. But that would definitely help the quality of your recordings! You can search on RUclips for “external microphone for iPhone” and see what reviews say.
I have used many different condenser microphones for my videos, depending on who is helping me record audio and the equipment they like to use. We record the audio separately beforehand, and then “mime” during the video to match the audio I have recorded. But it’s a complicated way to do things, and not necessary for most people! iPhones are perfectly good enough for you to record your video, and an external microphone will improve the audio quality a lot.

You have a good ear! I pre-recorded the audio for this video so it could be edited to sound really awesome and we could make the video more epic, but there are plenty of other videos on my channel where I am playing live with raw audio 😊
