I'd like to see giving the cow calcium. The last time I helped the vet with that was in the 1980's. I think we were still using brown glass bottles for the i.v. That's a lovely bunch of ladies headed out for some lovely graze, you have a lot to be proud about!
Love seeing the cows and snything you do for them . Its been a steange year for hay making . Some are getting bumper crops . Another year in farming life . Never the same .

Would love to see you using the air bubbler a little bit more especially when there’s sunshine out all the rain and stuff you got you want to get more of those microbials oxygenated so they can do what they need to do which will actually help you in the end, so you only get it to set it to run twice a day under solar power even if you don’t think you need it it’s really gonna help in the long run. When dealing with aquaculture and our slurry the aeration of the slurry before we pass it off to be used for fertilization is so important. It increases the yield and the potency significantly just with the oxygen that’s been circulated on once or twice daily basis in the slurry store. everyone have a great week was great to see. Tom, you're doing the right thing rolling after a top cut and while the soil is damp. In flattening the ground you get less cracks in the soil when it dries out, which is beneficial for the turf as it keeps moisture in. We've all known you have the world's happiest cows, if you and your team hadn't treated them well it would show especially on camera. 👍
Need to get into the habit once a week of pushing that midden up tom, over the year it will make a huge difference to what you can get in , lot easier with your loaner telehandler

Gotta say one thing about the little tool kit. I am a mechanic and work on call where ever my customers need me I did some work at a tool company they gifted me 4 little tool kits like that. 2 of them are my go to now. My other tools sit in the box. They are so convenient and fit in my work bag better than the racks of sockets that fall off the rack making it impossible to find the 10mm under all the other tools.
Just a suggestion, maybe have the soil tested for ph levels, and other minerals like calcium and magnesium. I’m no expert, but as an old farmhand I know when slurry and other organics such as grass clippings rot they create acids and over time the soil starts to become acidic. Maybe your fields need a rebalance that fertilizers don’t give
For better grass use the mower for topping. You don’t need topping skids just a hydraulic toplink to push it out till you are happy with the cutting height and open the grass board out to lay the cut grass full width

let's see here, you never have to irrigate, you have incredible stands of grass in small acreages, your cattle are fat, dumb, and happy............. Tom you have it better than 80% of farms in the US mate.....grazing will improve the land incredibly
Don’t use an off the shelf mix if going reseeding Tom. Get a mix made up that suits your farm. A lot of grass varieties in off the shelf mixes aren’t great
Get a set of topping skids for your disc mower then thats one less machine to have about the yard. You can travel a bit faster and no worries of shear bolts 🙈🤣

Gotta say one thing about the little tool kit. push the topper into a hole in the hedge and use the disc mower, much cleaner cut and quicker regrowth
