I remember seeing this ending in high school. It was iconic then and even now. A core memory that I won't soon forget.
For a movie made in 2007 it has way better CGI than most movies today

One of the most epic endings ... at least my personal favourite... I get chills every single time I watch and rewatch this gem of a scene
I fuckin' love that scene.
They really should have just left it at this. They didnt need any sequels, this was a great ending.
Or they could have made better sequels
one of the best endings ever
Watching this in the theater in 2007 at 18 years old, just graduated high school spending time with friends on a Saturday night….this ending gave me chills and left a smile on my face. Better times they were.
If this ended up being just the one film, and they never had that Starscream tease or any of the other scenes, I’d have been absolutely satisfied with this ending.
It just goes so hard.
I went to see this movie the night it was released at a theater in downtown Boston, it was the first theater I’d been in that was so packed that the ushers let people sit in the stairs and the isles. If you didn’t have popcorn or a soda when the movie started too bad, you weren’t getting any. At the end everyone in the theater gave it a standing ovation. It is one of the best time’s I’ve ever had going to see a movie!
I first watched this movie right when it was released for dvd, I was 6 years old. This scene was life changing lmao
